This silverware set was sold out EVERYWHERE on memorial day. I finally found it selling on Amazon. I was very nervous at first, thinking that this set might be knock offs. Even when I got it, the packaging was a little dusty. Not sure why? Either way, I washed the silverware a few times in my dish washer and was very happy with the result! No rusting, and only minor water spots that easily came off. These are the real deal. They look very classy and are very sturdy too! I used the spoon on some rock hard ice cream and it didn't bend AT ALL. Very happy all around!

I highly recommend this set! I am really enjoying them. They are a beautiful design, simple and timeless. They are very well-balanced. They lay in your hand perfectly, with comfort. The workmanship is finished beautifully... you don’t get that rough metallic feel when eating. High quality materials, with substance, yet not “weighty”. Price is quite good compared to V&B site.

We receive compliments on this lovely stainless flatware at every dinner party. Guests especially like the creative design of the knife, and how it feels in the hand. This set is contemporary, yet compliments vintage china as well as modern dinnerware. The pieces all look nice after running through the dishwasher. We've owned our first set for about three years, and recently purchased this second set for larger parties. The set comes in a beautiful, durable storage box if you need to store it between parties. I'm also considering using one set for everyday use as the pieces continue looking beautiful with each washing.

Flatware is just lovely. Obvious quality, good weight in hands. Design is modern, somewhat minimal but goes so darn well with my Crate & Barrel tableware. I saved so much money buying this large set compared to what I would have spent at C&B per place setting.

I ordered a New Wave service of 12 through Amazon and the. package I received was missive 2 tea spoons. When I called V&B they couldn't care less!

The silverware itself was a pretty design and looked really nice and shiny but there were a shocking amount of quality control issues and barely a good fork in the box. The tines were either bent or uneven in various ways (see photos). More than a few spoons had bubbling where the handle meets the bowl. Just really low quality overall. Not what I would expect for the price, though it is what I would expect when this set sells for over 3 times the price at Bloomingdale's or Macy's. Sometimes the price just is too good to be true. I considered buying a second box and picking through both to get a good set and returning the rest but I decided to just go with a different brand and purchased it elsewhere.

I bought this set for my stepdaughter who is moving into her first apartment. I was looking for a set in 18/10 stainless that was unique and elegant, yet not too expensive. This was perfect. She will be able to use this for a lifetime if she wishes. She loves it!

I kept these to use occasionally but not in the main kitchen. The size of the small spoon and small fork is quite odd and off. The handles of both are extremely thin and lightweight. They feel weird in your hand and the lightness/lack of balance makes them not great to use. Disappointing.
