I knew this thing was going to be cool, but it is even better than I expected! It has about a million displays, so I recommend you follow the setup instructions instead of winging it 🤣 but the instructions were super simple and clear. I set up the thermometer part for outside right by my sliding glass door in the shade, and it paired with the unit right away. I did have to google which number represents my time zone for setup (-12 to 12) turns out I live in -7 (yay for random knowledge!) but everything else was in the instructions. My favorite part is that it has a digital picture of the current phase of the moon cycle. So hippy!

Working great and first thing you notice is the informative display. You do not have to watch weather channel to decide if you want to take umbrella with you or not, Jacket or shirt sleeves, cap or more water. With remote sensor, we can monitor actual outside temperature and humidity among other data. You also can use it as a digital clock with alarm and snooze capabilities. We also use it to teach our kid about weather and the moon. As we live near the shore, one of the neat things we taught was the relationship between the tide and the moon phase. With Indoor measurement range: 0 °C（32 °F）~50 °C（122 °F/）. Outdoor measurement range: -22 °C（-7.6 °F）~52 °C（125.6 °F）. As a humidity gauge, outdoor indoor humidity display range: 20%RH~95%RH. A Great Product.

I gave this Weather Station 5 stars because it does everything as advertised. The Instruction Manual needs some improving but can be navigated with some ease. Setting up the Air Pressure (Barometric Pressure) requires 2 steps if you live in the U.S. The air pressure can be set to mb/h/Pa or inHg. The default for the device is mb/h/Pa so you need to change it to in/Hg.Here's how to do it: First, go to Weather.com and write down the in/Hg for your city. The instruction manual has 11 setup steps. You might want to number them in your manual so you can follow along. When you get to steps 9 & 10, press the "Clock" button to bypass them. In step 11 press the "down" button to change the device to in/Hg and press the "Clock" again to complete the setup. Now, go through the setup process again (you won't need to enter anything because it was done the first time through). This time in step 9 enter your current weather condition. Step 10 enter the in/Hg you got from Weather.com. Press the "Clock" button twice and you are done.Their Customer Service representative is located in Huntington Beach, CA and is very helpful. He doesn't have all the answers but will research your question and get back to you.Give the device 24 hours to display the correct weather.

I LOVE this SMARTRO weather station, color indoor-outdoor wireless! (And its customer service!) I SHOULD have one. EVERYONE should have one. Here are some reasons:1. IT’S SUPERB! Temp and humidity inside and outside, barometric pressure, outside weather forecast at a glance. All this and more in vibrant colors.2. CLIMATE CHANGE. That’s making weather more unstable and wildly variable, everywhere. Towns destroyed by warming-oceans-driven hurricane in the east and dry-heat-driven forest fire in the West. Iowa farmland has now been underwater for months. I had snow all through May, and then at the end of June, start of summer, snow and hail. We have already done so much to our Earth that weather will keep getting wilder for the rest of our lives and beyond.3. KIDS. If you have kids, for them the wild weather variations will keep getting even worse, for longer. Help them learn best ways to watch for it and prepare for it.4. HEALTH. Mine kept telling me inside humidity was 20%. I thought it was a flaw in my unit. SMARTRO customer service expert Zoe told me no, if it’s below 20 inside, the product keeps showing 20. I thought this was a design flaw. But NO! – that 20 tells us our inside humidity is unhealthy-low. (Healthful is 40 to 60.) The SMARTRO told me I should get a humidifier, and I have ordered one. The SMARTRO will tell me when I should have it humidifying.5. CUSTOMER SERVICE. Just to make sure I was satisfied, with my unit appearing stuck at inside humidity 20 and everything else about the product, Zoe of SMARTRO Customer Service sent me a replacement unit, without my asking!6. ADDING SOMETHING APPEALING TO LIFE. I find this product so appealing that I keep looking at it daily, for both a planning and enjoyment. At wakeup, look at it to decide which windows to open how much. Going out, look at it to decide how much warmth to wear. Other times, look at it just because I like it.7. DAZZLE VISITORS. I have mine positioned where visitors see it. It gets more attention than my giant-screen graphic computer. Makes me appear a better-informed more-scientific person (which of course I am).

I'd think for the price, this is a decent deal, however, my initial observations are that the outdoor sensor and internal sensors seem to differ by 2-3 degrees F despite being right next to each other.Also, since the background of the screen is black, you can not see the devices readings unless you've turned the backlight on. When the device is idle, it is literally just a black screen with no readable info. You have to manually press the snooze/backlight button on the top of the device in order to read it. If I knew this, I likely would have gone with something else because this I can't just glance over at the device to read it. Rather, I have to walk over to it, press the button, and then read it.Maybe it says this in the description, but I sure didn't see it.
