This is my third Marino ratchet belt - and just like with the other two, I am highly pleased. These belts seem to be high-quality, and hopefully will prove to be extremely durable (especially with no holes to cause breakage). All three belts have been easy to cut to my size, and install the buckle. So far, the only recommendation I would make is to redesign the box to allow the belt to be stored once the buckle is in place (I have cut a notch in each of the holders to allow the belt to be re-wound inside the box).

I started searching for the "as-seen-on-TV" brand for ratcheting belts but stopped on this Marino belt.Pros:1) It's cut-to-size, which allows for great customization, as does the the fact that it ratchets.2) It has solid construction and looks good.3) The buckle release mechanism is smooth and allows the belt to come off very quickly.Cons (all very minor):1) It requires some solid, strong scissors to cut to size since the leather is very tough (could be seen as a Pro, I suppose).2) Feeding the cut end into the buckle is a PAIN IN THE BUTT! I ended up having to take a pair of pliers to end of the leather that gets fed into the buckle clamp to squash it down enough to fit without it bunching up around the edges. Once it was in there far enough, though, it is solidly in there.3) The end portion of the ratchet section (start of the leather) snags when releasing the belt. This is the biggest annoyance and reasoning for 4/5 stars. As far as I can tell, the stitching is solid enough to prevent any widespread damage from rolls/tears in that small section.It's a solid buy overall and, easily, something I would purchase again.

I was extremely impressed with the quality and craftsmanship of this belt, not to mention the stylish box that it came with. I would recommend this to anyone, and would also recommend giving it as a gift or as an alternative to purchasing cologne as a gift (Cost is Less). After buying several belts after normal wear and tear, a coworker of mine suggested I try one of these Ratchet belts, which he said had lasted him more than 1 year, and still looked brand new. Since these belts do not have the traditional holes in them, no creases are made, which extend the life of these belts much longer. The design still gives it that traditional look without the normal wear and tear associated with it. These belts are the Mercedes Benz of belts, at a fraction of the price, not to mention they also include a matching leather key chain that is also equally as impressive. I'll definitely be buying more from them. Must grab for sure.

Good belt, flexible size, comfortable buckle (rounded corners), great price. Much cheaper than designer belts. The ratchet buckle makes adjustments easy. The belt can be cut with kitchen shears.

I really like these quick connect and disconnect belts. There are 2 widths so be careful if you want to get a belt for a buckle. This is a the complete belt. Look really good with textured pattern. Its a quick lift up and the belt comes loose. I wont' buy the ones with the side catch as they somehow don't release the belt so easy as this lift and slip design. I have this bookmarked for more colors for future purchases. Update: don't cut extended belt to your waist size! That's not how they are measured. Put belt around your waist, add for buckle and overlap belt end to first pant loop, mark then cut +1" and try for size. Trim as necessary. Easy to remove buckle with flat screwdriver blade. This Go Places design is easy lift to release belt and the only ones I will ever buy in future. Bonus! You get a great matching key fob with the belt.

The quality and buckle design is top notch. I was very impressed with the strength of the buckle. This is a very well made and nice looking belt. The only negative thing I can report is not even an issue yet, but I feel like it will be in the future is the inlaid leather strips on the buckle. I did not realize there where strips of leather glued on the buckle. It looks great now but at some point they will probably come lose and be lost, which will cause me to not be able to use it a business setting. I should have ordered a belt without the little leather pieces. I am still very happy with this purchase and love the fact that the belt can be custom fit.

Really nice belt for the price. I’ve been liking these ratchet belts to get and exact fit each and every time and can loosen or tighten throughout the day if I can relax or need to be dialed in for an important meeting. It doesn’t get any easier to adjust as needed on the go for an exact fit. This particulars Marino Avenue Men’s Belt came in a really nice package, and it came with an extra leather key lanyard with key chains, I was not expecting that. Nice finishing touch which prompted me to write this review. I would definitely order from this company and vendor again in the very near future and I would recommend for every guy who needs a nice looking professional dress belt.

Bought two of these for myself and loved them so much I tossed my old belts and only use these. They are well built and work perfectly. I'm actually ordering this and one other color and having them shipped to my brother who lives in England for his birthday. They are the best!!

This belt is great. As someone that has been losing weight and having to make new holes in my old belt, the adjustable nature of this belt is perfect for me. The quality is great and it looks very smart. Very good product.

This belt does the job and easy to adjust the locking connection works and unlike others which i have had after a few weeks broke . Excellent

Great quality product at this price point. Very importantly, fantastic customer service. I ordered 2 of these and one had a slightly sticky buckle action. Marino's customer support have replaced the belt free of charge.
