I put this over a 4" memory foam topper for my dogs. Before that, I had two old blankets that I folded up for my girls and my male dog would sleep in my bed. I wanted my girls to have something comfier than the blankets. The memory foam plus this topper cost less than a dog bed half the size, and is human level comfortable! I haven't tried this topper by itself, but with both together as an average sized adult I can't feel the floor at all. My dogs love it so much they don't even want to sleep in my bed anymore, which has allowed my cat to move to the foot of my bed instead of sleeping on my pillow with his butt in my face. So even though I don't sleep on this topper, it's still improved my sleep tremendously!

This looks like the photo, the material is soft and the elastic straps are sturdy and work well. Unfortunately, it’s 3” of fluff that disappears with any weight on it. We aired it out, put it on the bed with a sheet on top and my daughter and I each tried it out for a minute. Neither of us is over 125lbs. It instantly flattened to nothing and made no difference on the bed. It didn’t even compress slowly enough to give that lush, sinking in feeling. My tween described it as lying on a very cheap pillow. We returned it and got a 3” purple colored foam topper and are 100 times more satisfied with it.As a side note, I almost didn’t open it at all. It was wrapped in plastic and tied with pink ribbon with the cardboard label completely separate within the packing box. It looked repackaged, which made me nervous (bedbugs and such). The straps that hold it to the bed had black scuff marks on them. The marks didn’t look like someone had used it, more like the equipment used to package or manufacture it had black rollers that left something behind. Still not what you want on your crisp white, new bedding.

I bought this topper because my mattress was too firm and hot. While the topper is very comfortable and soft it is not cooling whatsoever. It seems a little hotter than just the memory foam mattress I had. If you are looking for cooling look elsewhere but it is very comfortable and soft at least. Oh and also mine showed up with only 3 of the 4 elastic corner straps so it was kind of shotty craftsmenship

The directions say to allow a half a day for topper to inflate. I waited three days and still the topper lay flat and lumpy. It gave no comfort.

I’ve only used this a week and usually soft bedding makes my back hurt worse. So far it helps my tailbone when sitting bed and it feels super comfy when sleeping. My pain is about the same but then again I don’t believe it has been long enough. Arrived quickly - I would definitely purchase this again.

While I was fully aware this would not provide the same results as a foam mattress topper, I did not expect it to be nothing much more than an average 'quilty' like blanket. A bit deceiving how they make the thing look firm with squared stand up sides that give a truly false idea that there is 'body' to the item . If your bed is perfectly comfortable already, this will add a small touch of added cushiony feel but no more than any heavy blanket would also provide if you lay on top of it . If however you are having any type of mattress discomfort as applies to hardness, feeling the springs, etc , pass this by as it will absolutely dissapoint you . Spend the same money on any thick quilt -like blanket and you will have the exact same experience .

I would have thrown out my mattress if I had not gotten this 3 inch thick mattress topper. It relieved my back pain. I didn't wait the full 24 hours to use it and it fluffed well. It comes compressed in plastic. The corners have elastic which fit under the mattress.

Bought it for 8 years old who was complaining her mattress was too hard. After I put this topper she had no more complaints. I don't know if it's going to work for an adult but it does work for kids.
