Shady Area Lawn 2kg Seed Grass Shade (Covers 40 Square metres)

This seed is one of if not the best I have ever used. Easy to sow and does not clump like some. The seed germination is about 7 to 10 days and gives a nice thick coverage in a little over 3 weeks (see pictures). The seed established nice strong root growth and I was able mow after 3 weeks.

They say the grass isn't always greener on the other side. This was definitely true for my neighbours. Until I used this seed that is! Now their grass is just bigger.

ok, the seeds that germinated where good but i reckon about 40% didn’t grow. pigeons didn’t even have the decency to eat up the remains

Met my needs. As was overseeding, hard to discern germination rate.

Very dissapointed!!Hardly any had grown!I made sure the grown was mowed, raked, and all bits and weeds taken out .. sowed the seed and added top soil over the yop but after 2 weeks there is hardly any seed sprouting!!!Very dissapointed...

I have a garden surrounded by mature hardwoods and many in my garden. As such shady areas are plentiful and recently a bit of landscaping left me with a bit right under the canopy in shade all the time.I bought this seed with no great hopes of it doing well. Not only did I sow it in June - not the ideal month - I didn't think that it really would germinate in the area in a woods I was using it.And - I was wrong.It germinated and grew well despite being shaded all the time. Frankly, I'm amazed.So, ten out of ten for a product that really does work where is says it does. I've bought two more bags for another area.

The seed has germinated well to repair a partially scorched/parched lawn. I spent hours preparing the patches and my efforts were rewarded. My research paid off as within a couple of days the weather deteriorated rapidly. Pleased that I chose this product as really only get one shot/year at lawn overseeding. (Spring overseeding never the same as have to tread on the surface to mow shortly afterwards).
