I have a habit of experimenting with natural/organic soap and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these soaps.They have an absolutely beautiful aroma and are rich in oil and other herbal extracts. The sampler provided was fantastic as well.They also seem to have a soothing effect on the skin.Of course since they have high oil content they tend to last for a much lesser duration but then this should not be taken as a negative.Perhaps the fragrance could have endured slightly longer but then I guess that is a personal choice.All in all a great offering by a new company at a phenomenal price point.Soap lovers must try this at least once. I certainly will try all their products.Congratulations are clearly in order for Ancient Ayurveda. I look forward to many more variations from this company.

Melts within days.

The soaps made my skin dry. The goats milk soap was slightly better than the other two. A mention of what herbs are used (at least on their website) would definitely help.

Releases too much oil within few hours of bath. Can only keep in box type soap box. Won’t recommend this soap for india.

Their soaps are very good and different than any other soaps I have tried before..bought this combo pack so that I can get feel of different varieties...tried Ashwagandha soap and now using Goat milk and saffron soap..liking the second one better. Using these soaps will be a different experincec ( Definately in a GOOD way :-) ) so do give them a try ! and Thumbs Up for the beautiful initiative taken by Ancient Ayurveda team. Last but not the least I really appreciate the personalized touch that this team gives to their products and delivery method. Keep up the good work <3

Many of you must have heard of African black soap which is a beauty holy grail around the world. Soap is made of reaction of an alkali and vegetable or animal fat. The great thing about the African black soap is that the alkali is derived from ashes of burned plantain skins. So this soap I feel is India's answer to African black soap as they use no alkali but instead use wood ash, coconut shell charcoal along with a potent mixture of oils. On top of it, they do not add artificial fragrance but a blend of essential oils which will literally blow you away.Considering the 100% natural ingredients used, it is really a premium product. Now coming to using it. I really recommend you store it in the refrigerator between uses especially in summers. Do not be aggressive with this soap, it really cleans very well even though you don't see much lather and too much use can make your skin dry. Use sparingly. Less is more with this product.The heavenly smell is the highlight of this soap, it lingers but does not bother like other artificial fragrances. An oil massage prior to bathing with this soap gives excellent results.I will definitely purchase this soap as long as they keep manufacturing. It's a little pricey but I urge you to do your own independent research on the ingredients used in other commercial soaps and you will clearly see the difference.

I was really apprehensive about using this soap as I usually get terrible reactions/ allergies after using various skincare products available in the market. I came across this range of Ancient Ayurveda soaps while browsing for anti acne soaps. I chatted with customer care who told me to go ahead with the soap for hyper sensitive skin. I have been using this soap for two weeks now. Even after the first use, I did not get any eruptions. I just felt a slight itchy feeling which gradually decreased after two days. The soap is always wet in nature and has natural fragrances and colour. Packed very carefully so as to maintain its shape and texture. I even leave some parts of my face unwashed at night and in the morning, some of my acne slightly disappears. I use it twice a day and have been seeing very good results. Though a little highly priced, it is worth all the money as I am not using any creams or moisturisers. I think because of the oils, one can do without these artificial creams and stuff. I have a few suggestions: please introduce a catalogue with all the products mentioning its uses and for which kind of skin. All the soaps have " For normal skin" labelled on them. Acc to customer care reps, Shea butter and VCO is the best for hyper sensitive or acne prone skin.

Pros:Smelled like a herbal spa and the smell stays for quite sometime after each use.Didn't irritate the skin at all.Lathers well.Cruelty free.Cons:189 INR for 85 gramsSo in conclusion yes it is expensive when compared to other brands in the market but the composition is completely herbal which deserves a thumbs up. Doesn't do anything miraculous like making the skin softer which is pretty average but does leave the skin less dry than other soaps.
