Great look behind the scenes

Having been an avid Bond fan for many, many years I was truly amazed by this book. So many candid photos I'd never seen, such an in-depth account of the days shooting this iconic sequence.To top it all, the finish of the book, with its gold-edged pages, is superb. If you are a casual Bond fan it may be a tad too niche, but if you're a Bond nut it's an essential purchase.

High quality book, absolutely gorgeous gift for a Bond fan.

THE GOLDFINGER FILES is a must have book for James Bond movie lovers. Chocked full of a fantastic collection of behind the scenes photographs along with incredible detail regards to the day to day filming. The book is of a size to properly display the rare photos and very nicely decorated. I have been collecting Bond since the sixties and must say I am very impressed.

With pictures, prints of call sheets this book is a fantastic chronicle of the week when the Alpine Sequence of Goldfinger was shot. It could be that most of the images are available on the net, but the quality print and the descriptions make this book worth the money for all Goldfinger fans.

After a few attempts I managed to get a copy of this book. The photos are fantastic and you just want to flick through it again and again.

One of my favorite scenes in all of the Bond films has always been the Alpine Drive to Auric Industries sequence, it has always captured one of the most beautiful scenic roads that one day I hope to drive on. This book was a true pleasure from start to finish, very much a coffee table book but the information provided was simply amazing it felt as if I was following along with the cast & crew. Breaking down filming day by day, I really enjoyed the look at what went into making this legendary but very small scene sequence. The book contained many photos that I've never seen before which was nice. Build quality of the book is top notch as well, the gold pages was a nice touch. All in all, I loved every second of my adventure with this book, even more of a bonus was the end section containing then and now photos, really amazing that the area has not changed much since 1964! Cannot thank the authors enough for their work in the making of this book, Thank you for allowing me to go back in time and explore this amazing film.

Eines der besten Bond Bücher. Alleine das Format haut einen fast um. Jeder "Connery" Fan sollte hier zugreifen.

This monograph was even better than I thought it was going to be. If you like knowing what happened behind the scenes and in particular what happened that week in July 1964 when Goldfinger was being filmed in Switzerland, you will relish the photos, the call sheets, the history, the comparison between then and now and the shared memories of folks who were there on location. A thoroughly enjoyable read!
