Eve and the Choice Made in Eden

Do you ever get the feeling, in this world [and this lovely mortality], that you're just not good enough because you're a woman? How is it that Satan has worked soooo hard on this world, on MEN and especially us women in believing such lies? Perhaps the Adversary has a special vengeance upon women...that is just one of the many interesting subjects talked about in this book. This book is a must-read for ALL women...especially LDS women since, yes, this book is by an LDS author. Many of the quotes used are from Latter-day prophets and apostles. It's a wonderful read. What happened in Eden WAS necessary...none of us would have been able to come here if EVE did not do what she did. I am grateful and very blessed to be a Daughter of Eve. =) Some neat quotes from the book are:"Eve - a daughter of God, one of the spirit offspring of the Almighty Elohim - was among the noble and great in preexistence. I have purchased this book at least 5 times, I keep a copy for myself but inevitably I loan it out but then they share it with a friend and so on so I get an other one, or I buy one for a friend/sister/cousin and so on. I cannot even say what a blessing this book has been in my life. Understanding my true nature as a woman has been the single most empowering thing in my life. I am so thankful for all the time and effort that was spent in collecting all of these precious truths. I am blessed to know that I am a daughter of God, I am not an addendum, I am very much in purpose for a purpose. I HIGHLY recommend this book and I encourage you to pray along to way as God is so gracious in showing and sharing truth.

This book is powerful! I'm not much of a non-fiction reader but I was interested in the subject. I'm so glad I bought and read this! It's completely changed my perspective on Mother Eve, events that occurred in the Garden of Eden, and much more. There are countless insights that had me shouting "Yes! Of course! That makes so much sense!" I've been recommending this to everyone. I love that Campbell uses sources from the scriptures, scholars, and modern prophets and apostles in her writing. And don't think this is just a book for women making them feel empowered and valued (although it does that too). This is a great book for husbands and wives to read together, to learn about our vital roles in the plan, to gain a great appreciation for the opposite sex, and to empower and encourage one another. Highly highly recommend!

Well documented, long over due, powerful truths which have been hidden. This book invites you to see woman in her true light, an equal too and superior in many characteristics to man!

This book really drew me in with all the info provided. Some I already knew but some was really enlightening and I was excited to share with my husband.Everything was backed by scriptures and/or church leadership. It was good to read about Eve and how she played such an important role in everyone's lives, doing what most mothers do and act very selflessly. I feel a much closer bond to mother Eve now and want to stick up for her and Adam when ever I hear put downs about either. This is a good book that everyone should read at least once.

This book is a wonderful book about Adam and Eve, but it especially discusses and teaches about the role Eve played in the Garden of Eden. She is an inspiration to me and should be to all women.I enjoyed all of the references, both spiritual and secular as the author provided in depth discussion.

This book arrived early-Yeah! It was securely packaged. I had this book prior to our home burning down and was glad to find it still available. It is a book I appreciated years ago for opening my eyes to the blessing Mother Eve was to the Plan of Salvation-we could not be born as long as their eyes were not open. It will be wonderful to re-visit the text and remember those feelings from years ago. Thank you to Amazon and the vendor who fulfilled it.
