Not too expensive, yet sturdy for strimming weeds as well as grass.

Strong enough to cut a good amount of grass without cutting.

I've used strimming on my garden for years and found this particular wire to be the very best. It's really sound. Used against even concrete edging I'm seldom adding a new length on my spool.

I’ve got a cheap DIY shop own brand strimmer and was finding it really frustrating to use, with the original line breaking every 30 seconds. Especially around concrete or stones, which is where I need to use it. I thought it was the strimmer that was rubbish and was thinking about replacing it, but decided to try thicker line first and it’s made a massive difference. It’s definitely more difficult to wind it on the spool and get it to stay in place, but it cuts so easily now with minimal breakage. I completed my strumming this time with only 1 break to deal with. Stones that would have broken the old line now get thrown around by the strimmer, so I’ve learnt not to wear trainers while using it!

This worked great for fairly heavy long weeks and grass, but when it hits pavement, it tented to not wear down, but snap off at the base. This meant frequent re-threading requiring removing the spool, vs. just feeding out a bit more line if it would wear down like it should. I would probably not buy again.

The line is lovely cut like a dream in my new strimmer, doubles up as great dental floss. Absolute steel of a price for such versatile line

Dose the job usually lasts about 2 years on average so that's good

This is my second reel of this strimmer line. The previous one lasted me a couple of years. It seems decent enough quality, it gets the job done on my Honda UMK425, so I have no complaints
