Zephaniah has tried his hand at a number of different genres, but for me, he’ll always be best at poetry. This is well-worth reading whether you’re a fan of poetry or whether you’re a fan of Benjamin Zephaniah – or, indeed, whether you’re neither. Read it.

Propa Propaganda is a collection of poems intended for performance, although no less powerful is it read, written by the only poet worth reading, Benjamin Zephaniah. A man of such integrity and conciense that he turned down an OBE for his art and beliefs, Zephaniah brings poetry alive.
