STAS Molding Hooks for Picture Rails - 10 Pack, Chrome/Silver

I am using these to hang heavy pictures with invisible lines. Worked really well and the white blends well with the wall and it has the perfect measurement for my molding.

Very sturdy, fit perfectly over my original 1911 picture molding. The cheaper ones were brass-coated steel, and did not fit as well. These did the job.

I have no idea if the picture rail in my 1910 house is original, likely not, but either way these didn't quite fit. I kind of screwed up the moulding getting one in, the rest I just used a pair of pliers to bend a little and allow them to slide in. I would have just returned but they seemed to be better quality than others available and I liked the look!

Having recently moved into an older home with plaster walls and picture molding in all the rooms, I spent a lot of time online looking for picture-hanging solutions and love the STAS system for ease of use and adjustability. These hooks, while pricey, are great! Love that they come in several colors. The white ones are almost invisible on most of our molding. Here is a 5-foot square painting which I hung so easily using the perlon loop cord, the zipper hooks, and these hooks.

I used these for multiple purposes around my home, primarily to maximise space through hanging items from picture rails.The reason I chose these in the first place over standard brass ones was that they would blend better with the white-painted wood. This was a good choice as the overall look is tidier and less obtrusive.They slipped easily into the rail and fitted there securely. They also seem very robust, having been used to hang everything from electric Christmas lights to a hoop drum and walking jackets and poles.They're also handy for slipping onto a rail-style drawer handle and hanging a variety of items from, including keys, kitchen utensils and oven gloves.I have plans to put some onto a piece of curtain wire, strung across a wall, in the garden shed too to hang bits and bobs on.Very happy with these, to the extent that I ordered more.
