Great tracker, but REALLY bad wrist band.
Moov NOW Personal Coach & Workout Tracker (2nd Gen), Fusion Red I am just not a big fan of any activity trackers. I just find them totally pointless. The fitbit etc. count the number of steps etc. but I personally believe that data is absolutely useless. I agree they might motivate some people to reach a set goal of target steps per day. I think that motivation wont last long, and even if it does, number of steps is hardly an indication of the amount of exercise you are getting. When I watched the ad for moov, I was interested in the idea of coaching me and giving me live feedback on a particular activity. So, I figured something like that would make much more sense and wanted to try it out.And I am pleased. It gives me really good feedback and gives me short goals to reach, take a small break and again continue depending on the level I chose for myself. That made running on a treadmill(which I consider to be the most boring thing in world) engaging and interesting all of a sudden. Then the body workout is completely awesome. The fact that it keeps track of my reps and sets, and depending on how i improve, I can upgrade to the next level. Being someone who hated going to gym because I prefer outdoors but my work-times etc. don't allow for it; moov now has made me look forward to going to gym every evening. It is like a competition with myself and one to enjoy. However, all goods are coming with one bad. The wrist band it comes with is downright bad. Really bad. It is made of whats looks like rubber, and is hard to fasten and unfasten from your wrist. Always takes a bit of pulling and yanking for me. There are so many complaints that the trackers falls out of the band, and I can totally see that happening to me some time though it hasn't happened so far. The knob on wrist band that locks and unlocks keeps coming off. The moov website has a video on how to put it back, but haven't they thought what happens if it just falls of and I lose it someday. Anyway, the band is just really. I wish the company changed just the band, or maybe atleast some third party bands become available. In all, I love my moov now tracker. I have running, brisk walk, body workout routines so far. I am yet to try swimming and have to wait till spring or summer for that of course. I am going to try the boxing also soon and will update. The boxing workout sounds very interesting though.

wristband broke after a weeks use !!!
I ordered this 2 months ago directly from Moov Now (at the release price) and counted the days until I received mine because I was excited to try the AI coaching feature which works great for the running/walking to improve your form and distance/speed . The boxing app is fun but you really need 2 for you to get the most of it . I have not tried the 7 minute work out , the swimming or cycling apps yet but have read that they work well. Also Moov Now measures your active minutes but does not count your steps if these is something important you will be disappointed , however Moov Now is geared more for those that want to get fitter with the AI coaching feature .Tracks your sleep automatically but not very accurate if you tend to lay in bed before you fall asleep ,you can adjust your sleep time with them Moov App now to fix this. My main problem as others have stated is the wristband is not very durable at all it ripped after a weeks use !! To make matters worst I contacted Moov Now and they want to charge me $16 to sent me a replacement wristband!! I expect a company to stand by their product and offer a limited warranty . I also have a Fitbit Flex and their band tends to rip after a few months but at least they send you a replacement band with no questions ask if your band breaks within the first year of use . For this reason I can't see myself recommending this band to anyone if the wristband is so flawed even though I think that the AI coaching works great .

This is a good fitness tracker
This is a good fitness tracker. It's water proof and takes a coin battery so it never has to be taken off for showering or charging. It does well with not adding extra sleep time when watching TV, etc. It also tells what is light sleep and restorative sleep. The app that goes with it is great too. It coaches on running, cycling, swimming, cardio boxing, strength training, and even brisk walking and has many levels of each so it is great no matter what your fitness level and goals are. Just turn on the bluetooth on your device, press the Moov Now, select your activity for coaching and off you go. I gave it only 4 stars because it doesn't sync with mapmyrun or other apps. It is pretty much self contained so if you already use another app, then this might be an issue.

Really, Moov??
I don't mind the active time vs. steps. Frankly, active time makes more sense to me. So fine. The app is fine. The tracker works well. I give it one star for two HUGE problems and I'm being generous. First, this is one tracker that claims to measure spinning sessions. It's touted in many places on Moov's website and in reviews. Uhm, where is it? It's not to be found in the app. I only see outdoor cycling on mine. Was I not special enough to own an iPhone for this bit of special treatment? Whatever. If you can't bother to put spinning on the android app too, you're worthless. The second and worst of the two is the stupid strap. Folks complain about the Misfit Shine's strap, but that one is a technological marvel over this piece of garbage. I've had the Shine for years and it has it's faults, but it's never fallen out and the strap has never fallen off either. I've owned the Moov NOW for a grand total of 7 hours and it fell off when I removed my arm from under my pillow, when I moved my arm away from hugging my daughter and when I took off my shirt. Yes, a simple hug and when I TOOK OFF MY SHIRT!!! Really, Moov???? You can't manage to design a strap that can withstand the extreme movement of a hug or the removal of a shirt? Pathetic!! Fix this, already!

Great product, bad design with the band.
To start off, I really love the app and device. The only thing I wish they would change or offer was a different band. I could forsee me losing the little pod (I aleady did during one of my nights sleeping). But if it wasn't for that very important feature, this product would get a 5 star rating.

I love Moov, it means I have a PT on my wrist.
I love this. I have just done two weeks at Fit Farm and am missing it. I lost 8cm around my waist so am a size 10 again! Yippee!I don't drive and take medication which means I should avoid the sun. Following the PT is much easier than following a YouTube video and i can take it into the garden where it is shady and work out. I have my iphone 5 strapped to my arm and the moov tech on my wrist. This is much better than bringing my Mac book on the ground, in London the weather is so changeable, one minute sun the a rain shower! It is very easy to set up.It is on sale atm, so cost £45 instead of £55. A personal trainer is £30 so after using twice it has paid for its self.I am in Bipolar atm and the only way out of it is diet and exercise... I can train whenever I want now! ❤️ Moov!I have nothing to complain about!Thea aka The Complaining Queen!

Un-openable!
I've been so far unable to use it. The casing was pretty much welded together - its missing a small lip like you'd get on a watch to pop open the casing easily. You get a tool to open it (plastic) and it also suggests it can be opened with your fingernail - not a chance unless you've they're made of steel. In the end I had to get a precision screwdriver to open it and the force required made damaged the casing so I very much doubt it will be water proof. So poor design. But given other peoples views I'm putting it down to a bad item and waiting on the replacement - lets hope so. And lets hope the supplied battery isn't flat this time either...

Dead battery.
Came with a dead battery, the battery is hard to replace without scratching or marking the moov.
