All water dispensers work in same way, just to pump water from the container and dispense to your cup. This one is no exception. The product comes with a manual button (in red), which you press and hold to dispense water. Besides the manual button, it may also work automatically when a cup is placed on the white bar. While it is tricky, and most of the time you have to apply force on the cup in order to trigger the "automatic", at least at the beginning, due to its insensibility, for a regular paper cup weight half ounce. The dispenser is designed to be placed on a 5-gal jug, so it is not suitable to place on a flat surface since it has big head with small bottom.

I bought this sump pump for my family drinking water, it is really perfect, easy to install, one-touch access to water, lasts a long time on a single charge, water comes out fast and doesn't splash. I like that it has a tray that sits on top of the bottle or on a table at a decent distance, so you can rest your cup or pitcher on it. Nice product design. I would recommend!

I had different versions of dispensers over the past few years. Most of them are ok but you have to hold the cup and wait for a while before the cup fills up. But for this one you can just put it on the platform and it activate the water automatically. And the flow speed as double or triple the others I had over the few years. Very happy with it but I do hope it can be heavier so it stays in place

This water dispenser pump is very easy to use. It is very convenient to place cups and kettles on it to collect water without splashing. There are two options: one is to press the switch, and the other is to place the container flat on the white button. When the container presses the white button, water will flow out, and when the container is removed, the water will stop flow out. I really like it.

My family has been using this water pump for a few years now. For the most part it has been a good little water filler. I like that it is chargeable. Our family already goes through enough batteries. The spout is pretty long which allows easy filling of tall glasses and water bottles. Shorter cups can cause the water to splash a bit though because of that though. I usually just hold the shorter cups up higher with pressing the button to prevent this. We have had a few pieces randomly fall off of it but they were easy to reattach. My biggest gripe though is that the tube is way too long and makes it hard to empty the jugs. I have to tip the whole jug if I want to get the last 3" of water out when the jug runs low. It has never stopped working though in over 2 years so I'd say it is a good machine

I was overjoyed when I found this product on Amazon. Over the years I have purchased a few water pumps for drawing water from 5-gallon jugs, but unlike this product, my previous purchases required bending over and holding the container to be filled. Given my mobility issues, the bending and holding the container was not only problematic, it was painful. Now none of that is a problem, with this pump, I now have a tabletop means of filling containers. In fact, I like this product so much, I now own two. One for the bedroom and one for the kitchen. Great design, thank you.

I received a new unit with extra gasket!! updated to 5 stars based on customer service!Worked great & I liked the design until metal spout fell off & then the plastic gasket tore & now it doesn’t work - no suction - only lasted 4 months & was started to not stop when jug removed & spilling water. Not worth $30 for a few months & no way to contact customer support. - contact seller & complete warranty.
