AIDEA10" Acacia Wood Lazy Susan Organizer, 2-Tier Lazy Susan Turntable for Cabinet Kitchen Pantry, 360 Degree Turntable for Countertop Cabinets or Dining Table

This is not the size they said that it was. It is barely 13 inches across, when it was advertised as 14 inches. I had carefully measured the area, and more specifically, the size of the glass food storage containers I planned to put on this turntable, in order to be able to reach them more easily. Because this was advertised as 14 inches across, but it is only barely 13 inches across, it does make a difference, because the glass containers barely fit. It may not seem like a large amount, but it does make a difference. The planning I did was a waste of time, “Lack of truth in advertising”. Fie, fie. They should correct the way this product is listed so that it is truthful.It looks OK, and I’ve only just gotten it, so I will have to leave another review about how it turns, but I was looking at a quite a few other turntables, and had I known thatThis was not the size they were advertising, I would never have purchased it.I was looking for a turntable of a specific size, and as it was not advertised truthfully, The planning I did was completely in vain. Annoying.

When these arrived I was thrilled with the size and the color as I am using it as a turntable under the TV in the kitchen. Unfortunately, the wood is very rough and definitely needs to be sanded smoother. I will be trying to contact the supplier, but unfortunately this is made in China and I'm not expecting much of a response. Who knows, maybe I'll be happily surprised.

I received two lower shelves instead of one lower and one upper. This means that the items stored on the upper shelf can easily slide off, as there is no raised edge to prevent it. I have three choices:1. Return it.2. Use it "as is" and be careful how I place items on the upper shelf so they don't fall off.3. Drill the support holes completely through the upper shelf, assemble normally, fill the holes with wood putty, sand and oil.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I received the replacement today. It is correct, so I've revised my review to 5 stars. It is a nice lazy susan for the countertop.

One of the pegs was too large and I had to whittle it down so it would fit into the hole. Otherwise, this was super simple to assemble. It is a beautiful color and looks great on my counter holding all my vitamins and supplements.

First off, it’s a beautiful and well crafted product. Having read the reviews I had some trepidation that the dowels would not fit, and I hate returning stuff. But it was exactly what needed so I felt I could adjust or replace the dowels if needed.I need not have worried. Yes, they do appear too wide if you planned on forcing them in with your hand. But that’s not how woodworking works. The dowels are the right size for a snug fit. They are scored and the ends are slightly swole open which is what makes them too wide to be shoved in by hand.. All you need to do is center them on the hole then use a rubber mallet to tap them in. All three went in straight away with a couple of careful, firm taps.You do want them to be this snug, by the way, so the unit stays in tact as one piece as you lift and move it for cleaning. If they weren’t this snug the whole unit would collapse as the dowels fall out. The manufacturer should really recommend the mallet trick.

The top is connected to the base by ONE WOOD SCREW which turns itself out as the top rotates.

I had been looking for a plain, but nice, wood lazy susan for the dining room table in our Maine lake house, which consists of a hodge podge of furniture and knick knacks from four generations over the past 100 years. It is a cozily eclectic place, and the wood dining room table is one that was made by my husband's great grandfather. It looks a little like a picnic table, but more refined, and is a gorgeous wood. Doggone if this lazy susan doesn't match it exactly. Same hue and sheen. It is well made, solid, and the perfect size because we can put it in the middle of the table where everyone can reach it, but it doesn't impinge on anyone's place setting. It turns smoothly and easily without any herky jerky motion to it. I couldn't ask for better!!!

I ended up returning this item. As others have said the dowels and the holes don’t line up property and the holes end up ‘flaking’ sides off. I wish it were a better quality and in darker stains as it could have been perfect. I will just keep looking.

Omg this is such a perfect everyday use! For your bathroom or in your kitchen. Easy to install and super amazing quality. Very sturdy and durable.

This is actually a beautiful item but the pre-drilled holes for one of the dowels on the tray I received was misshapen and not centered. Inserting the necessary dowel caused the wood edge around the dowel to split right off on the lower tray. Still usable but for the price I expected this to be a little more sturdy. Luckily this is going up high and I won’t be able to see the breakage regularly. Otherwise I would be returning it.

The holes for the wooden pillars are not align. Not one, but on all 3 of them. For the price I’m paying, this basic thing should be taken care of
