Easy to Change
The media could not be loaded. I replaced the first carburetor and got our weedeater working in an hour. So easy to replace, my husband picked up a 2nd weedeater out of the trash and brought it home.

Minor issues at first, but it works
Installed on my old X430 head. I very nearly need to repeat this install every year, sometimes skipping a year. The rubber components inside these (and the OEM carb) break down, develop holes, just self-destruct. Yes, I know I can buy just the rubber pieces and refurb it instead, which I did once, but a kit with just the rubber is nearly as much as the a new carb, so I don't bother. This particular one works fine, after fixing things. The fuel hoses it came with were just a few hundreths of a mm too small so were loose when inserted into their holes in the gas tank. That'll cause the fuel to slowly evaporate out at best, or leak out while it's running at worst, so I had to replace them with slightly plumper hoses I had already. On the top of the carb is a set screw to adjust the airflow, which on mine was too loose, and the vibration of the engine running would immediately start turning it to a closed position. At which point it would die every time you hit the throttle. So if you encounter an issue of the motor starting fine, but then bogging out and/or dying as soon as you give it more gas, you have an airflow starvation problem. In my case I had to turn that screw counter-clockwise to open it, and once I realized what it was doing to me, I got it in position, then put a dab of superglue on it to lock it in place. Minor inconveniences, but still indicitive of a either lack of controls in tolerances in the manufacturing process, specs, or part sourcing. All in all though, once the minor things were straightened out, it now seems to run just fine. Until next year, when I'll probably repeat this process.

Ryobi S430 S430 S430. Works Great
OK got the carburetor in and it looked great. The throttle cable connector is a little different from the original. here's my suggestion take the old carburetor off, put a new gasket towards the motor and slide your carburetor on. take your finger and plastic throttle that is spring loaded, turn it counter clockwise and the existing cable has a different end but it will fit in a hole in the new carburetor, turn plactic throttle all the way to the left and then put in your cable and it will work perfectly.on my gas tank I just had two holes in the top, I did not use the rubber plug that they sent with it I took the new lines out of rubber plug, my old filter and lines out of the tank and installed the new lines and filter.Put gas in the tank, pump the primer ball a few times until I could see gas in the bulb, set the choke on full, pulled the rope a few times and it hit, turned choke off, pulled couple more times and it startedLove it love it love it, runs full throttle and even the motor case is cooler I guess now it's getting the proper gas flow. I hope this helps give me a thumbs up if it did.

Not a perfect replacement
Spark plug was the wrong one, had to swap the throttle body from the old one because that was wrong. Had to make adjustments once it was installed. Definitely not "plug n play".

Carb fit my Ryobi C430
I have the Ryobi C430 purchased in the spring of 2017. It worked well until I used some old gas in it and one day in the spring of 2022 it refused to start. I purchased the fuel line kit and primer bulb replacement from home depot in hopes that it would fix the issue, but it didn't. I found this carb and mixed reviews about it fitting or not fitting the C430. I tried it, and am satisfied with the carb itself. As for the fuel lines and spark plug, they will not fit the C430, or would be too hard to run without the kit from home depot. If you need new fuel lines, get the kit from home depot, and same with the spark plug. If you need a new carb, this should do the trick!

Caution: Not an Exact Replacement for RYOBI RY34007
I bought this kit mainly for the carburetor. It looks the same, but not 100% the same. I was leery when the provided fuel line kit was not the same but figured multiple models used this carb. The description listed my model trimmer. I had to modify the throttle cable on my version of the RY34007. This carb has a port that my unit does not use. The fuel return line blocks the port on the air filter housing for the head gases vacuum line. Because of other issues I am working on the trimmer, I don't know if this carb is going to work on my string trimmer as yet, Ryobi model RY34007. My engine uses a heat sink that is no longer available. I am attempting to repair my broken one.In the attached pictures the "replacement" carb has the fuel lines attached.Once the other repairs are completed, I will update my review to let you know if I was able to make it work.

great replacement carburettor for the Ryobi S430 4 cycle head
I read quite a few reviews where folk said that the throttle cable connection was different to the original. It is. However, it is easily rectified by unscrewing the spring loaded throttle from the new and old carbs and swapping them. That way, you can continue to use the throttle cable that has a "z" end to it. The other feature of this carb that I like is that it has a fuel/air mixture screw. My Ryobi now runs great once again. I have not tried the spark plug that came with the kit, nor have I used any of the included hoses/grommets that came in the kit. It was mainly the replacement carburettor that I was interested in.
