ButtendzStretch Hockey Grip - Rubber Replacement Grip for Ice Hockey, Sleeve Style Player Grip with No Knob, Reusable and Long Lasting Hockey Grip

Should call them Loose-endz
Adult Beer League player.I applied the glue generously, worked it around like the videos show, and let it sit for a few days before using. The adhesive isn't that strong, so the grip shifts around a tiny bit when playing. I feel a light pop when it shifts, at least during initial use. It stays on well, though. There's nothing to hold the plastic butt end of the shaft in place, so I'll need to tape or glue it on anyway. Otherwise, I haven't really noticed a difference compared to a regular hockey tape grip.I'll keep using them because I don't want to throw $50 in the trash. I could have got a lot of tape (or beer) for that.

Better than Tape
My son prefers the feel of this grip over tape.I’ve noticed over the years that tape wears down his glove and eventually tears it.It was pretty easy to put on after watching the instruction video. Only disappoint was it didn’t contain the spray to put it on. Luckily my local hockey shop had an extra one.

Great Product
I have 4 of these on my hockey sticks are they are great! I made the switch from tape to these about a year ago and I can say I won't go back to tape. They are water resistant for the most part, haven't had any issues with the Buttendz being in water while on the bench. I found if you are having problems taking them off, use dish soap, and it comes off extremely easy. As for putting it on, I use WD-40 and I found it works much better on my senior sticks than using the spray that comes with it. Make sure when putting it on your stick, to spray WD-40 on your stick as well as the inside of the grip. It helps to twist the grip and twist your stick in the opposite direction and they'll slide on with relative ease.

Can be tough to install but there are tricks
Like others have said, it can be difficult to install. My first attempt, it went about 3/4 on, then stopped. I was able to get it back off, but it wasn't easy. On my second attempt, I ran hot water over it for a few minutes to get the rubber warm and then stretched it every way I could to get it more stretchy. The second attempt, it went on much easier and the whole way. There was barely enough application fluid for this second attempt, so there should be more included. This has been mentioned enough times in reviews that you'd think the manufacturer would catch on and include more to avoid this issue being put in reviews.

Great addition to any hockey stick
Got one for christmas and decided to buy another one for my back up stick. It's a little messy getting it on but once it sits for 24 hours it's good to go. With the rear hand doing most of the stick handling and moving of the stick this adds great grip and control of the hockey stick. It's also nice that it's reusable and able to be used on your next stick even if you break one. This is also handle because you don't have to keep re taping the stick for extra grip. Totally satisfied with the purchase and would buy another if need be.

Incredible experience
Pain to get on, but once it's on, wow! Never going back to tape again. You need to try it for yourself to experience the great grip it gives, while not getting overly sticky like tape and wont destroy your glove.

Decent enough
Took some getting used to but was ok for the 3 games I used it before my stick broke. Unfortunately can’t reuse these. I’ll just use tape next time since it’s expensive to keep buying these.

Easy to install, nice feel, lighter than tape.
Very very easy to install. Make sure you spray both the inside of the Buttendz and the top of the stick shaft. I have been skeptical for a while but I got a new set of gloves and I wanted to keep the palms nice and this is the perfect way to do it. My only concern is if my stick is dropped (whether it be on the ice or on the bench) and someone steps on the grip what will happen. But, despite the other reviews I will definitely be purchasing another for my backup stick as well as my practice and roller hockey sticks.

Feels great, but came damaged
Was easier to put on than I thought. After I put it on I saw that the knob is actually already damaged. Hard to see when the grip is not on as the rubber expands when putting it on the stick. Not sure what long term effect this will have.Edit: I have used it now for some time and also tried other products. It won't change my rating. My hands are on the smaller side and the Buttendz are quite thick. It makes it more difficult to grip the sick. My main stick has now a Tacki Mac on it. These are cheaper, and thinner. I will go with those in the future.

Buttendz Flux Z Grip
Désolé pour ceux qui ont eu de la misère à installer ce grip mais de mon coté cela a été aussi facile que d'installer un condom, sinon aller voir les tuto sur Youtube, ce grip est une pure merveille

Waste of money
Cannot get it on the stick despite watching numerous tutorial videos, following all the instructions and using all the lubricant. I would have given this zero stars if possible.

Not worth the money!
It was hard to get on the stick and only lasted one game before it started falling off. Waste of money in my opinion.
