Saved so much money. Easy to install.
My valve was rusted from the leak. It was a different brand, but this one fit perfectly. Kept the old back valves and used the front of this one as a replacement. Used the new O-rings too. Easy install. Works great!

Easy install
Easy install as a replacement. Old one had a broken stem. No leaks but it wouldn’t shut off if we needed it to. This went in 1 2 3.

Easy replacement for leaky part
Just moved into a house and had to turn the water for the washer/dryer off and on again. This caused the very old shut off valve to start leaking around the lever. Swapping in this new part was easy and simply required unscrewing both units, prying the old one up, removing the old washers, cleaning off the metal, and tightening the new new one down while keeping the new washers in place. I added a little silicone grease to the new washers as they seem to come dry. Works great and no leaking now. One thing that had caused concern was that our old part had a black lever handle and the new one has a blue one, and I wondered if this was the identical part. Seems that the handle color has simply changed over time.

Easy replacement install
Had a similar shut off valve that was leaking from the stem. So a video that suggested you could just buy a new valve and install this valve body on the already in place copper sweat elbows. Measure the center to center distance of the screws, and took a chance. The screws were identical to the existing unidentifiable product already installed on my copper supply lines. Rather than re-sweating new elbows on, just installed this whole new valve body with the new O-rings onto the original, in place, elbows. A perfect fit. Five minutes to replace the existing valve body without having to sweat new elbows onto the copper supply pipes !

Great quality brand that will last, worth the few extra bucks
I replaced an identical brand valve that dripped after 30+ years of use. Didn't have to solder new elbows in - just unscrewed front, pryed off, cleaned up mating surfaces, swapped out o-rings (after applying o-ring silicone grease) and tightened two front screws. Also applied silicone to threads of control rod, screw threads and valve balls. Saved myself soldering fuss and cured leaks.

Excellent Replacement for a 20 year old version...Buy this!!
Used this to fix a leaky one that was over 20 years old..Just used half of this..since the old one is soldered already onto pipes..Easy fix..just unscrew the 2 bolts..take the half off the pipes..clean it up..Take this one apart and put the new washers on and attach the half you need to old one!!Works great!!

Great item
When my old valve started to leak I thought I was in big trouble because the local Home Depot did not stock this item. I thought I was going to have to open the wall to install different valves. Luckily Amazon came to the rescue! This replaced an identical Oatey valve. It was surprisingly easy to remove and install - only two screws - over the existing stub that was already soldered to the copper pipes. There were also no leaks on the first try!

Just right
Just like my old one so did not have to change my pipes. It connected right up to the old hookup. GREAT

Fits on base of Watts M2 Duo_Cloz and is $20 less. Wonderful!
I installed a Watt M2 Duo-Cloz about 40 years ago. Every 15-20 years they start to leak. This is probably my third. As others have noted in their reviews, one need only unscrew to remove the old and replace it with the new and everything works splendidly once again. This unit - while not the M2 Duo-Cloz - nevertheless fits the same base and is $20 less expensive. While Watts seems to have a kit to replace the O-rings and teflon washers inside this unit, it seems like a non-trivial task to refurbish. This was not that expensive and took about 7 minutes to shut off the water, replace the unit and be back in business once again. Highly recommended!

Perfect replacement.
Same brand as original from many years ago and fit perfectly. Advise people to watch some installation videos if not sure how to install ; actually quite simple installation.
