Princeton Review AP World History: Modern Premium Prep, 2021: 6 Practice Tests + Complete Content Review + Strategies & Techniques (2021) (College Test Preparation)

Bought this for my daughter to study for her AP world history exam. Very useful. Has sample tests and she used it along with her tutor and to self study.

I got a five thanks to to the tips, content review, and practice tests in this book!

Good

The book itself is used and has some cosmetic issues as expected. There was some writing in the book (with pencil) but was all easily erasable with an eraser. The carrier package though was disappointing. It came in flimsy black plastic and caused noticeable bending and tearing of the book in transit. Otherwise, everything was fine. More specific: 8.5/10

This book does a fantastic job of condensing all the important information from the 1 year long class into 200 pages, detailing important historical events like the thirty years war, and the world wars, briefly reviewing the stuff that isn't likely to be tested. The result is an extremely fast prep book that you could use a couple days before the test and still get a 5. it's that good.Some of the 1 star reviews here say the book's practice questions aren't like the ones you see on the exam, and that's true. it has HARDER questions than the exam, deeply testing your ability to scrutinize and understand a text, and your memory of key historical events. When test day finally came, I was worried that I would have trouble correctly answering some of the multiple choice questions, because you have to answer 55 in 55 minutes, but they were a breeze after reviewing this book, containing very few memory elements and mostly critical thinking ones, which, thanks to this book, I got through easily.I highly recommend this and other history prep books from princeton review.

Like any other review guide it’s comprehensive, but also isn’t boring. I studied every nook and cranny of this book including the online practice tests and it seemed to help a lot.

having taken multiple practice exam questions released by collegeboard, I can say that the questions here are obviously different from the ones you'll find on the test. don't buythe history content also is questionable, because when i took the exam last year, my dbq prompt was about the mexican revolution. I didn't know a thing about the mexican revolution, and after taking the exam i went home and looked to see if this book covered it. It was on the ap world course and exam description (collegeboard releases this and it has everything the exam could possibly test you on), but this book had no content on the mexican revolution. I don't even think the book mentioned it.
