My Monster Secret Vol. 13 (My Monster Secret: Actually, I Am...)

When I reviewed Volume 12, I said I was done with My Monster Secret. After all, Volumes 11 and 12 were painful reading. However, I saw that Volume 13 would have a story starring Akane, my favorite character. I still have fond feelings for the first ten volumes and thought if anyone could save this series, she could. Volume 13 is not great but it is good, just what was needed. Akane has a trip to the dentist, not a prospect she takes well. There is the developing relationship between Kuromine and Shiragami, which is quite sweet. We have a new character, a succubus. There is a nice tale with both Koumotos and a hint of what Akane really feels about Akari. I suppose the best way to describe this volume is how you might feel your first good day after a bad illness. You're not 100% but starting to remember what normal feels like. Let's hope this volume isn't a fluke and My Monster Secret is on the road to recovery.

This series is honestly the best romance manga i have ever read and definitely in the top 3 of my most favorite manga.

While it's true some of the gags can be a little repetitive I like this manga because it makes me laugh
