If you buy this, look at the measurement for the arm length before you buy.The arms on this are pretty long compared to many manufacturers, especially as you get to the larger sizes. If you are short, be aware of your own arm length, and compare the arm length measurement with measurements from a garment that fits well. These arms were so long they went beyond my fingertips, although I believe they sent me the man’s sweater by mistake. Sad to return it, it was beautiful and very warm, but the arms were ridiculous. I went on the website and checked the arm measurements, the man’s size was only two inches longer than the woman’s. If you are short, go with a petite for this. If you want to buy a man’s size and you are a woman, the arms were also very wide at the bicep. The arms might be okay for a woman if you are tall.

I am a 5’2” petite person. I bought the xxs size hoping it would miraculously be a perfect fit…Not quite, the item is baggy, but on the other hand is so warm and cozy. The pattern and color are deep and as depicted in the photos…I almost sent back due to price and sizing but decided to keep as there is no smaller size for people like myself.Have hardly taken the item off since it arrived and while a first wash didn’t shrink the wool at all, I’m hoping one more wash (product should be dry cleaned only) will shrink it just enough to be the perfect size for me.The sleeves are fine in length, the item hits just above the middle of my thigh, the extra fabric/bagginess comes in the body (back area specifically).I am 105lbs.Extra fabric does not keep me from wanting this in the tan/camel color too! Maybe next year once I pay this one off ;)Quality garment—should last a lifetime!

I am cold in my house from October to March and wanted something warm. This is it. The tight thick knit keeps the cold out. I am a true medium in women's Vince, Theory and Pendleton sweaters, and first ordered a medium because of the reviews saying it runs big. The medium was a true fit and looked nice, but wasn't comfortable with any kind of sweater or sweatshirt under it and I wanted this to layer. I also found the medium a bit snug under the armpit area and the sleeve length was just enough versus the large which goes over my wrist a bit or I can roll it a tad, and I like that (I'm 5'7"). The large just has more room overall and is a much looser fit which is what I wanted. Thankfully, Amazon exchange made it easy to get the large to confirm it would work and am sending back the medium.

Love, love, love the double zipper. Nice for sitting. Shouldn't all zippered apparel have them?FYI: Medium's length is 30"; hem sweep is 42". I've gained so the medium is a snug fit at 150 lbs. It's very warm and very heavy. It's more of a sweater 'coat' than a sweater. I would recommend it and would buy it again.

It’s super comfy. Wore it as my jacket it an ice storm in Dallas and kept me super warm. A little too warm for mild climates but great for the cold

The craftsmanship is amazing. The wool is very dense brioche stitch. It is so heavy that it could/should be worn like a jacket. The fit is quite over sized but that is a good thing because someone is more likely to wear long sleeves under it because it is 100 percent wool. Sometimes I wash my dry clean only wool clothes by hand at home but I am unwilling to take the chance with this one-I can tell that it would definitely shrink if wet. I was considering knitting this pattern myself but it was on sale and thought it would be worthwhile to wear and use as a reference, especially considering the time and cost of materials. If someone preferred a lighter sweater, hated wool, or worried about ruining this sweater, a knock off of this pattern might suffice. It’s somewhat deceiving —the way it’s worn in the movie. The sweater is such high quality and woolly that I would never think of wearing it with a T-shirt and PJ bottoms.

This is a beautiful, heavy sweater and it has the price tog to prove it. But at nearly $300, Pendleton should be making these in the USA or cutting the price drastically. Plus, it was shipped in one thin, clear plastic bag that was held closed by a single piece of tape. Mail carrier left it on my steps and when I picked it up, the sweater fell out onto the ground. At this price point, I expected much more

First off it arrived with no tags in a clear bag. I put it on, put my hand in the pocket and there was a kleenex in there!!! I wore it around the house that Christmas day, and noticed the seam on cuff is already coming apart. I wanted to love it, but need to return. I had bought my husband one from here, and it was fully legit. This was very disappointing
