When I ordered this item, I was under the impression that it was a book with the wood spirit stick included as Amazon has it listed as "Hardcover". What you get is the study stick with a small 32 page booklet included. While it has some value as a study guide for carving the wood spirit on the study stick, it certainly isn't a comprehensive book about carving and not really worth the $18.96 price. If you are looking for a book about carving wood spirits, look elsewhere.
