This is a great product. I have been using it for over 35 years. It moisturizes, smells wonderful and is not oily. They used to make an excellent shampoo but it has not been available for years. They also make a wonderful cake of soap. I recommend this for men and women of all ages. It is also priced reasonably.

I love Skin Trip lotion, and use most of the Mountain Ocean products. The lotion is creamy, absorbs easily, feels smooth without greasy, and has a natural coconut smell, not an artificial sticky sweet perfume candy smell.I actually use it all over. If I -have- to because I can't find my regular moisturizer, in a pinch I use Skin Trip lotion on my face, just a dab. Before I found a conditioner I wasn't allergic to, I would put a small amount in my hands and work it in my palms then work through the lower half of my hair, focusing on my roots. It dries greaselessly and gives hair a healthy sheen and soffffft touch. I have barely wavy hair. It didn't enhance my curls, but it's lightweight enough that it doesn't weigh down my hair either.The annoying thing about Mountain Ocean Skin Trip lotion AND soap is that they seem to be made with a lot of excess water. The soap shrinks slowly over the first few weeks of being unwrapped and is about 3/4 its original size, BUT no less potent, so I don't complain. The lotion is the same. It seems about an inch of water evaporates over the first few weeks you own it, but seriously, no less potent. It really annoys me about the Mountain Ocean products, but not enough to take off a star!!Eternally devoted to this stuff. Will be grateful to the woman who introduced me to it forever!!

I was introduced to this lotion by a good friend nearly 35 yrs ago. Was looking for a good after sun tan lotion, and lo and behold i found the exact same lotion all these yrs later on amazon. Its still the same as it was then. I was more than thrilled. Subtle coconut smell, almost antiseptic. Goes on light and absorbs quickly. Be sure to really shake that bottle good before use to mix all ingrediants before applying.

I’ve been using this lotion since I discovered it in a health food store in 1981. It’s pure with minimal ingredients. It has Aloe Vera which is so good for skin, along with coconut oil which gives it a nice scent. It goes on smooth and soaks right in, no greasy residue. It was hard to find in the early years - so glad it’s available on Amazon and Whole Foods. Highly recommend this lotion!

I've been using this lotion for probably 25 years at least! I'm very sensitive to smells and this is a wonderful scent. It says coconut but most kids tell me I smell good, like cereal, lol.Nice texture, not too thick, not too runny, family made, few ingredients, and when I get warm, the scent warms up too and people always ask what that yummy smell is.I LOVE this lotion. It is the only one I use.

I have loved this moisturizer for decades. It used to be in the health food stores and readily available but I have not seen it there for years. It’s light, almost watery and coconut scented but not overly so. It hydrates well and absorbs quickly. My only complaint is that it doesn’t come in a larger bottle however you can purchase 3 bottles at a time.if you routinely moisturize and don’t like waiting for your skin to absorb it or if you don’t like a greasy feeling, this classic is for you. People will smell the coconut scent but it’s not “suntan” coconut; just a light, pleasant scent.

I love this lotion. The first time I tried it was about 5 years ago and I've been in love with it ever since. I mean, to each his own, but I'll tell you why I love it so much. When I first bought it, I was at a natural food store nearby. It caught my attention because of the simple packaging and black and white label. I trust products more when they're less disguised by fancy packaging. I smelled it and decided to try it. I thought it was kind of pricey, but when I thought about it, an 8oz lotion at bath and body works costs the same so this really wasn't more expensive than most popular lotions. The first time I tried it, I vowed never to switch back to anything else. First of all, it's pretty thin so it spreads very easily which covers more area and actually yields more than most popular lotions. That was my first reaction. Then the scent is just delicious. Tropical and coconutty. Then the way it moisturizes the skin is so unique. It doesn't feel like it's just sitting on the surface of your skin just making it dewey, it dries quickly and not sticky and leaves your skin feeling so silky and quenched. I've also noticed that it's somewhat healing. If I have mosquito bites or razor burn, it seems to calm the irritation. At least for me it does. There's something very special about this lotion. Mountain Ocean nailed it with this formula and I hope they never change it. It gets a 10 in all categories if you ask me.

My skin is sensitive and chronically dry, and this lotion is one of my favorites. It goes on light, and a little goes quite a ways. The scent is strong but pleasant, the lotion absorbs quickly, and the price is reasonable. It isn’t life-changing, but it’s a lovely daily treat for my body.
