Good Sound
I gave it 3 stars on the remote control because you have to point the remote directly to the receiver. So, you can't be sitting in the front of the boat (pontoon) and control the radio. You have to sit in front of the radio. The sound is good. The directions were almost non-existent.

update: I hate this thing. Awful
Updated review:This is the biggest pile of crap. If you buy, you will come to hate it1. Bluetooth connection constantly fails and won’t reconnect unless you factory reset the unit each time. Awful. I hate this thing2. The knob is so finicky and such a pos. Like sometimes turning volume up somehow actually turns it down. Same thing when trying to adjust settings... after each and every factory reset I have to do to this POS EACH time I go to use it. Did I mention what a total pile of crap this thing is?Do not buy. You’ll spend an entire morning getting it all installed and wired up... if your time is worth anything get a better unit. Mine is going in the garbage.Volume level 20 on radio is loud. Same volume level on Bluetooth is barely audible. This thing sucks.initial review:You get what you pay for, but this is a really good deal at $30. The Bluetooth does not connect after a period. it’s an odd glitch, not a total failure. It just says “no pair.” The fix is just to pull power from the unit and plug it back in after 10 secs and you’ll be able to reconnect again. You do have to redo your settings (there aren’t many), so it’s annoying, so it’s all said and done about a 5 min chore every couple of weeks. The buttons are cheap and finicky (like flips to a new setting before you can even adjust), but for $30, I mean what would you expect? It installs quickly and easily and comes with everything you need. It does change colors, and I wasn’t sure if that would be cheesy or cool. It’s not a rainbow; the entire screen color just changes. It changes slowly so it’s not abundantly noticeable, so I’d say more on the cool side.

Good for the money
Replaced an old Pyle marine radio by just unplugging and removing the old one and then plugging the new one in. Super easy and it works great. With my cover closed I could still use the remote and bluetooth with my phone. You do need to be less than 10 feet away for the bluetooth to work with no interruptions.
