It does shrink, so pre-wash.
The lace is absolutely beautiful and delicate. I'm planning to use it on my granddaughter's first communion dress. I bought 2 packages. I did prewash and both shrunk. The first measured out before wash at 4 yds, 7 1/2 inches; 4 yds 4 1/2 inches after wash and dry. The second measured out before wash at 4 yds 23 1/2 inches; 4 yds 10" after wash and dry. They both retained their original look. The first pack had a lot of connecting threads that had to be cut off. The second pack was perfect, no threads.

Loving this lace, it is beautifully woven, no stray threads, well packaged and easy to store back into the plastic bag to store. Will be sewing onto linen decorative big pillows. Would recommend and will definitely buy again.
