Levy's DM2 2.5" Top Grain Leather Guitar Strap - Black

It looks sharp, but the unfinished leather back sticks to my shirt and pulls my collar around while I play. It's mildly annoying but the construction is solid and won't be falling apart in my lifetime. It feels thin to be but that's probably because I'm comparing it to my padded strap. I bought this for the look and it doesn't disappoint on that level.

Looks awesome, feels excellent, and you can't beat the price and quick delivery.

I love this strap, and in fact it would have been 5 stars across the board and my favorite strap of all time, but it's just a little too short. Which, for scale, these are nowhere near as long as the go-to nylon straps that everyone knows and loves (i.e.: the industry standard, in my mind). The description says "also available in XL, adding up to 12" to the overall length," which would be perfect, but good luck finding this elusive item. Which leads one to dive down the rabbithole of leather strap extenders. Levy's does offer one, but it's roughly half the price of the already pricey original strap (and not available in red, to the best of my knowledge, if that happens to be your preference). I docked both the comfort and value categories from 5 to 3 stars to account for all of this. So, if you are a low-slinger, like me, or tall, I imagine, you may find yourself a bit more cramped than you are used to with this otherwise top-notch guitar strap.

I bought the Black version of this strap for my Black Bass Guitar 30 years ago (Which I use almost every day and it's still going strong!). Just got another Red Bass and was pleased to find this still available and in Red!!

The strap is the exact same one in the picture but rather a close replica. Upon close inspection the stitching is different and the two different colors are not of the same material. All in all it is a good strap just not as advertised.

I have come to expect Levy's straps to be excellent, and this was no exception. I bought a new Fender Stratocaster, red quilted maple top, and this strap looks awesome on it. And as usual, it is supremely well made. I have 3 or 4 of Levy's straps now, and I'm pretty sure they are all I'll be buying form now on.

This strap is a tad shorter than i would like, but I give it 5 stars anyway because its great quality at this price point and looks super cool with my black and white Flying V.This strap is a step up in quality from what you'll see at this price point at your local guitar store. It does what you want it to with some flash to boot.

I bought this as a gift for my musician son. I don't know much about guitars or straps, but I do know a little about workmanship...This was well made, beautifully stitched, and weighty, nice quality leather.It looks great with his guitar, and the lightening bolt kind of gives it a little pizzazz.My son likes it, and says it works great.
