Overall I think it will keep me dry.I deducted a point for 2 reasons, 1) I'm 6ft,4" tall. The Poncho is basically a square ground sheet but,...When I tred it on, the Length of the Back, is shorter than the front, consequently if I sat down on wet ground, my Backside isn't covered so I'd be *Soggy*. If you had a rucksack on it would be even worse.2) there are only 2 pair of press studs on each side. Closed, they leave Big Gaps which I imagine would let Rain/Water inside the poncho. It needs more pop studs or Velcro along the sides.Except for those issues, it seems to be substantial and the construction seems fairly adequate. Time will tell.

My friend seared the net for this and found what he wanted, so I ordered it for him. He's very happy with it. Cheers Gerry

Bought this for hubby holidaying in the Highlands this year. He loves my not being able to see him when out for a walk.....🤣 Me, I think he looks like the baddie out of 'I know what you did last summer' seriously though its well made and serves its purpose admirably.

Exactly as it says water proof wind proof fits over all other clothing and even a ruck sack easily , will always pack it on walking days

Smells weird... but will do the job.. pleased with it
