Normally love this wood,But this batch1 cracked2 heavily blemishes ( noggings, natural i know but normally theybare smooth and clear)None properly sanded, filled with groves from the saw.Some also have a strange crystalised build up on them in the middle (is this even safe to handle?!)I make wooden photos using heat to transfer images onto the wood, I've used the same type of wood and transfer paper over the last 2 years.I made 2 pieces using this wood (have to do at night while my baby sleeps) i use the wood straight out of the pack like always,I didnt know why it wasn't working right, looking terrible with lines and groves through the images, in the day time the next morning i have realised this new batch hasn't been sanded on the surface so every single blemish qnd rough part pulls through into the images. I have never had to sand them beforeThe reason I didn't return this batch as i had orders to make,I contacted the company on their email address like it says to in the pack on a little card but haven't heard anything back.I hate to chuck money down the drain, especially in hard time like this.But im literally making a loss not a profit when materials are not up to standardI will have to sand them best i canI will consider buying elsewhere next timein the meantime im still awaiting to hear back from the company

They're exactly as pictured and come in a lovely little storage bag however, they also arrived covered in glitter? Had I known this (I'm not sure if I missed that somewhere or if it was an accident) then I wouldn't have ordered them.

My order has literally been ordered and I’m so disappointed. I ordered these as part of my wedding table centrepieces and they’re awful. They arrived in a zippy plastic bag which you could see was wet and dirty. When i opened the packet all pieces were wet. These should have been properly dried before selling. How on earth do you expect people to do with anything in this condition. They wouldn’t even burn on a fire. I’ve had to lay them over the rayburn to dry out - and this is so they don’t get more damaged when I return them to you. They’re so wet that even the bark is coming off a few of them and you’ve managed to stain one by putting in a business card which got soaking and wet onto a piece if wood. The whole reason we ordered these was that we don’t have time to dry out our own - which is key! And we were willing to pay the ridiculously overpriced amount for them. DO NOT BUY these products. Waste of money. Disappointment. Oh yes and they don’t come looking clean, they’re covered in dirt. Learn about drying wood for DIY and for general fire burning before ripping people off!

Loved them and use them as stepping stones in my 'secret garden'. Very versatile!

Exactly what I was looking for to create a greenery and fairy light theme for my Christmas table. I sat little glass pumpkin lights on these randomly around the centre isle of the table and had fairy lights and winter greenery too. Tops of the wood pieces are nice and smooth - no splinters here. The bark around the outside of each does lose little bits though. I have to say that they are £5 more than when I bought them before Christmas which is disappointingly cynical! I probably wouldn’t have purchased them if they had been their current price when I was looking!
