Runs half size small
Great shoes definitely run a little on the small side. Good value.

Decent shoe, definitely different fit from Freeriders.
I have mixed feelings. Bought as replacement for 5.10 Freerider Pros. As many say, they run large. I use a US mens 8.5 Pro, i ordered a 8 Trailcross, as pictured. My Pros on top are three years old so are packed out and delamming, but tou can see The lasts are def different, long and narrow. I have problem with low volume feet, narrow ankles, so this was good. I rarely can get shoes snug. However my feet measured on a sizer are not really narrow, so i got a bit of hot spot on outside of little toe area. The collar padding is minimal and stiff edge did cause some rubbing on outaide of ankle and inside front when not riding, namely doing trail work and walking. Didnt develop to point of blister. One little corner of neoprene on collar already wore through. Pads on inside at rear along achilles tendon were a bit odd feeling, but didnt become a problem.Plus side, these are very light. Measured on scale at same weight as the Pros. Also extremely well ventilated, can feel the wind blowing through them as riding, ive never felt that before. The modified tread does seem to work marginally better hiking in dirt. Even more aggresive tread in the forefoot and heel would be cool. Judging by the materials and venting, they should deal with water well as in theyll drain and dry fast. Wont keep your feet dry im sure! I haven’t actually tested that yet.Oh, the stock insoles are floppy squishy wastes of time if you like arch support. I didnt bother and immediately replaced with aftermarket insoles. So while on bike, theyre good, but off bike are a mixed bag for me. The sizing runs big, but if you size down too much it may be too narrow.

Super Uncomfortable
I wanted to love these shoes but they are super uncomfortable around the ankles and not very padded in the footbed. I had to return them. Ended up getting the Freeriders, which are not as fashionable and a lot heavier and hot but a lot more comfortable.

Perfect cycling/walking shoe
These shoes are perfect when riding flats, when planning to mix in some walking. The soles are stiff enough for cycling and the energy transfer is noticeably better than regular sneakers; however, there's still enough flex that walking is comfortable. 510's are known for sticking to the pedal pins it's true with the Trailcross as well. I can't speak to durability as I've only had them a week, but I'm very pleased with this purchase. Plus, they look so much better than most cycling shoes!
