Very convenient but you have to be around to turn it off. If you forget you will ended up with burned eggs.

You can cook 12 instead of 6

1st one had the lid broke. got a replacement. took a week to get it. so much for prime 2 day. But that's not sellers fault. put the water in for hard boiled, put in 6 large eggs. Used the poker thing to put a small hole in 3 of them. As told, to "keep the shell from breaking". and turned it on. 10 mins later it shut off. no beep or anything. the one egg that did blow out was one I put the hole in, go fig. lol. They turned out med boiled, not hard. Def made for med eggs not large. will try with med eggs if I can find any around here. all I have seen in stores are large and jumbo.

When I first used it I put the little hole in the top of the egg but that was too messy, eggs flowed out over the top ... no hole in the top and they cook perfectly in very little time! Wish I would have got this sooner!

This egg cooker is poorly made. The top of the cooker does not fit securely on the base ir on any level. The vents fir steam to escape are too large and are a burn hazard. Honestly, I can't understand why Amazon allows such a dangerous and poorly constricted product on their platform.

Even cooking 12 eggs at a time it works awesome.

Used 2 layers. Eggs were less than hard cooked and the water ran out before the finished cooking light came on, but the scorched bottom did clean - this time. Was hoping eggs would peel easily but no such luck.

Usually these gadgets aren't worth the hassle, but I'm pleased with this cooker because it gets the job done easily and with minimum effort. Any size egg will work. Comes with everything you need plus a little plate for omelets, a measuring cup and pin pricker.
