It worked while my piggy was less than a year but once they’re full grown this is too small of a carrier for them to be in on long car rides or for extended periods of time. There’s only room for them to alternate which side they’re facing and definitely no room for them to stretch.It is a very cute carrier and got a lot of compliments when I was using it.

It's the perfect size for my 4" Russian tortoise. Everybody that sees it loves it. Even our vet said it was cool. I just wish they would make one with super heroes or something more masculine for a boy. I washed it in hot water and put it in the dryer with no problem. The handle is a little small but I can still fit my hand in it.

I just received a call from my sister. I purchased this little thing not knowing ANYTHING about little creature accommodations/toys! 6 months ago, I purchased this (January 2022) for my 8 year's niece's birthday. They have have a Flemish Giant rabbit that they play in the yard with so I thought they may like to take their other little hamster/gerbil thingie out as well. They were away just this past weekend and had a neighborhood teen watching the animals. There was a mishap with the little creature and my sister had to take to the vet when they returned. My sister popped the thingie into this mini creature satchel! It's customary to see them toted around in a cardboard triangular box with holes. The vet's office said they had never seen anything like it and just thought this was the nifty-est thing! So even if you are not planning on riding your bike, taking to the farmer's market or having back yard tea parties with your mini creature, this might be worth getting just to transport for urgent/wellness checks.

Little Hammy is not able to get out. We can take him anywhere. It's compact sturdy and perfect for the price.

My flying squirrel chewed through the plastic in the front, BUT, it is his favorite bed. He sleeps in it all the time in his cage, and when he is free, all I have to do is jingle it and he comes running to his "bed". Perfect to carry them around, and great size, for a little squirrel.

This carrier is much too small for animals bigger than mice/hamsters, so please keep that in mind when purchasing. Also, if your pet it prone to chew, the fuzzy lining on the inside of the carrier can easily become stuck in their digestive system. Overall, it is sturdy and the harness that comes along with it is a nice little bonus.

It was just like the picture and my two rats like to get inside together and cuddle up. I just got it for their trips to the vet and it will work perfectly. And the harness that came with it works great for a short trip.
