Must Read for Cross-Cultural Workers!
The deeply theological yet extremely practical advice offered here is life-giving nourishment for the souls of the cross-cultural worker. This is a handbook to return to over and over again… it’s on my yearly reading list now.

Great book!
This is a really great book and I highly recommend it for those going overseas! I read it after being overseas 3 years and can see the value in knowing this content! It would almost be good to read before you go AND THEN again after a year when all the stuff makes sense. :) It is a short book and easy read. Get out your highlighter!

A must read for Christians who are involved in Cross-Cultural work.
This book is a must read for Christian Cross-cultural workers. It has very helpful anecdotes which are examples of both the standard for right living as well as what happens when these proper standards are not observedPeople who are young or new to Cross-Cultural work must read as an act of preparation for a very important part of their growth and development.Eldon "Butch" BarkmanLeadership Development Coach

six months after we landed
This book was giving to me before I got to the field and held little or no value to me... six months after we landed it felt like it was written directly to me addressing every issue I was struggling with. So take it with you when you go but wait until you need it to read it. Make sense? Blessings to all. For the praise of His name!

Encouraging and Practical for ALL Believers!
This is such a great tool I will reference and re-read again and again! In my role as a Life Coach, I see many principles to help others persevere and progress in what God has called them to do.

Great book, especially for those new to ministry.
All forms of ministry can be difficult especially when devoted to it full time. This book not only helps you recognize some of the struggles of cross cultural ministry, but gives great tools and advice to help you to be able to stay in long term ministry.
