Clean neutral scent
I purchased this, hoping for a prominent Hinoki scent. This does NOT have a Hinoki scent, it's simply a clean soapy smell. I still happen to like this shampoo, it doesn't cause any scalp irritation for me like many shampoos, cleans well, rinses clean. I will definitely be ordering again when this runs out.

Do your own research...
Please read the ingredient label of this product carefully, then do some research on the substances involved. Also, be sure to look at the order in which ingredients appears as there is a direct correlation (percentage of each substance is less the further down the list) The amount of hinoki oil in this product is...insignificant, and the amounts of other, potentially harmful substances, substantial. Do your own research... Fortunately there are other options available.
