The chandelier is beautiful and replaces a 40 year old fixture. The brushed nickel hides all the fingerprints and the understated modern design doesn't overtake the dining room.Putting this together is relatively easy but you should know what you are doing. Note how long you would want to hang this from the ceiling. Take out all the parts, determine the distance from the ceiling to the bottom of the unit to adjust the chain, cut the wires giving about 8+ extra length, and put it together with the mount before the final mount to the ceiling. This would mean that the wires need to go through the center mounting holder. Since the instructions focuses on wiring, there are no further instructions. By putting this together before mounting would save you time. This will give you an idea of what you need to do for the final mounting. Follow the wiring instructions. Hint: inspect and notice the plain and ribbed wire.The thick glass shade is secured by taking off the ring around the socket (which is ceramic), putting the shade on the socket and install the ring back. I'm using LED indoor 60w equivalent with a dimmer switch. I can see when this needs to be cleaned, the bulb and the shade can be easily removed for cleaning.Two things are a surprised: this has the Westinghouse label which is used for name only, but I'm hopeful that Westinghouse considered the quality of the fixture before slapping their name on it; and this 5 light unit was a lot less money than other 5 lamp units. I'm glad I saw this unit since it has an elegant and simple design. I'm getting the 3 chandelier fixture for a stairway.

We got this to replace a small ceiling light over our casual alcove table. It was well package and undamaged. The lamp was well made and the frosted glass looked nice. The bronze color was just as show in the pictures. The only issue we had was it came with a very short wire and chain, 6-9 inches at most, to hang the lamp with. If you want to hang the fixture straight down, no problem. We wanted it to be more of a swag lamp, so we ended up going to the local lumber store and got a bronze colored wire and chain about 4 feet long. My husband is handy and installed the longer wire and threaded it through the chain and it looks perfect. If your not comfortable dealing with electricity, you might need to get a handy man or electrician to install. We have ours on a dimmer, as I hate bright lights and it gives off a beautiful glow.

Light fixture was fine and installed easily. I was very obviously sent a used and returned item rather than the new one I had purchased.

I was looking for a light fixture that matched the other ones in my house that could sit on top of an existing medicine cabinet. I also needed one that had a circle to match my existing wall hole. This matched almost exactly, and could be oriented either way. It’s a perfect fit. Now, it does say oil-rubbed bronze, but it is closer to black. But it works for our home because it’s in a different room. But it is perfect for our use.

I had some concerns about the size of the light and the company that sells this product stepped up and was really helpful with finding a better option for me. A helpful tip - pay attention to measurements to make sure it’s a good fit for you.
