This plug fits the fluval Spec just right. It is easy to install and it helps protect the fish from getting into the back of the tank. I am so glad I bought this item.

I couldn’t figure out why my Fluval Spec V had cloudy water, even with regular water changes and cleaning. Algae would creep back up as soon as I’d removed it and so would the biofilm on top. Did some Googling and found this plug. I just put it in today - not even 12 hours later the water is clear again. Now that water is forced through the filter media via the top slats, I can even see the small gunk being sucked in. If you’re thinking of giving up on your Spec, try this. Just keep an eye on the water tank levels. They even sent me a Swedish Fish gummy with my order! Thank you and so excited to discover this company.

It’s too big. I tried over and over and couldn’t get it to fit. Super disappointing

Worked great plugging the hole. Don’t even notice it in the tank.

I tried for about 3 minutes to push this into the vent at the bottom but had no luck, until I trimmed it down with a cuticle scissor. It slipped in after removing around 5mm from the plug. Not sure if this was printed for a newer/older design of the Fluval system than what I have, but it is a tight squeeze and it’s doing the job.

Was not happy that the hole in chamber two of my Evo XII meant very little flow would actually go through the overflow making chamber one essentially useless. This product was shipped fast and fit right in the hole perfectly. I like knowing I can remove it if ever needed.

Not sure if the 3d printing process causes the exact size of this plug to vary, or what, but my plug would only stay in the hole while the pump was running. As soon as I'd turn the pump off, like for feeding, the plug would fall out.

Fits and seals bottom opening on my Fluval Spec 5 perfectly no issues.
