Stay-N-Wash Dog Grooming Tub Restraint and Pet Bathing Tether

Adheres to the wall well. My 75 lb dog doesn’t pull it off.

The product works beautifully! It keeps my dog still and keeps him in the bathtub. However, the only issue that I have with it (very minor), is that the suction cup itself will eventually loosen a bit if your dog tends to pull a lot and then it will pop off the wall. Mine suctioned to my ceramic tiled wall, if that helps. Otherwise, it works wonderfully and I am considering using them in my own grooming salon when the time comes!

This is an amazingly effective answer for me and my dog. I shave him periodically, and he doesn't mind it but in a few minutes he gets bored and it's SO hard to keep him from walking away! I bought this not with shaving in mind, but bathing in the shower (where he also always tries to walk away, and it's backbreaking to keep him in the shower). But I thought: Hey, what if I stick it to the glass on our sliding door, near the edge for strength, and shave him? And Oh Wow! What a dream! He immediately knew he couldn't go anywhere, so he just lied down within 5 seconds and stayed there until I was completely done. That was so great; he relaxed, and I got a comfortable shaving without wrenching my back. It also by the way sticks SO firmly to the shower tile, I couldn't believe it. I still have bathed him yet, but I'm looking forward to it, because I know I won't have the issue of trying to make him walk backwards every 10 seconds!

You have to clean and wet the area you plan to stick the suction cup to, or else it won't stick. I keep seeing reviews of people saying that it falls off and I wish I could ask them if they wet the back of the suction cup first. It works pretty well for my 50lb pitbull but I plan to buy a second one to hold her wiggly butt still, or else she pulls and slides the suction cup down the side of the tub to get free. This has made bath time sooo much easier. I gave it 4 stars only because she fights so much that she can make the cup move along the tub and doesn't keep her backend still. As a matter of fact, I'll be using it shortly because Daisy has decided to get muddy in protest of going to the vet tomorrow.

I fell into a trap here - I had read some of the reviews that what they received was not what was pictures - I assumed it was a one-off mistake and wouldn't happen to me so I decided to order. I was very disappointed when my package arrived and I too received something that didn't look at all like what was described or pictured. I received a dirty looking black suction cup with dirty a dirty golf ring sticking out. Then a blue plastic tube connected to the ring with a gold clip (which would rust SO FAST in the water). Then there was no nice padded loop for your dog - instead there was just a ring that you are supposed to attach to their collar?I promptly returned because this was a waste of money and nothing like what I had wanted. Do not fall prey to this advertising - look elsewhere.

Pros:- Suction is impeccable- Durable and appears well made- Length is just right- Padding for the neck- Simple setup (5 minutes or less)Cons:- It can be difficult to reposition the suction cup once it’s in place. This is more a testament to the exceptional suction of the cup.Overall: 9.5/10; would recommend and buy again.

Received my grooming stay and wash a week ago. How ever the product I received wasn't as pictured. there is no padding around the neck or a way to tighten it so it doesn't slip off the pet, it can slide down over his body, the suction is great as it stuck very well when he tried to get out of the tub, so I gave it 3 stars for the suction.

Very well made product. Does the job. It does however, leave a round yellowish circle on the laundry tub, which I have been unable to remove with any kind of cleaner
