Q: |first time duvet user| how do you use it ?

Hi there, Layer your duvet insert on top of the cover. Tie the duvet insert to the cover at each corner. Starting at the top, roll the two layers together- like you’re making a sushi roll! When you get to the open end at the bottom, reach in, and turn each corner inside out. Zip it up, enclose the roll. Now start unrolling. Thanks!

Q: Is the pillow case zipped or open? Thanks

There is no zipper on the pillow cases. The pillow cases are open and the opening is in the back.

Q: Will my old comforter work inside this duvet? It has no ties on it so I’m wondering if it will stay in place inside the duvet?

My experience with duvet covers is that if there are no ties,the comforter will not stay in place. I have used ribbon on the pastor make my own ties. Good luck!

Ours had five ties too. The corner ones were close enough to work with our comforter.
