National Tree 25 Multi Replacement Bulbs for 50 Light Sets, 2.5 Volt (RBG-25M)

I felt compelled to write a review in case it helps someone else.I bought my Ashland 7.5” pre-lit tree off of Craigslist a few years ago for $20. Such a great deal since these trees are so expensive. It came in the box, so I knew what kind of tree it was and where it’s from. The issue is that bulbs needed to be replaced, and I finally decided to undertake the task this year. I looked in several physical stores and online. I couldn’t find just replacement bulbs in-store. I (FINALLY) found something online, but it would’ve been very expensive for how many I needed to replace. I bought a box of string lights which were kind of ok, but they didn’t really fit in the clip-on socket that this tree has. So I knew I needed to find affordable bulbs to buy because I’d run out of ideas.The box for the tree had contact information, so I contacted them looking to buy more replacement bulbs. In-store or online, I didn’t care. They wanted to open a warranty. For a fully functional tree. Having bought the tree from someone else, I didn’t have a receipt. After several e-mails back and forth, they finally admitted they would not sell replacement bulbs directly. I don’t know why I should feel surprised that they’d rather have you replace the whole tree rather than a couple bulbs.Then I finally found these. The bulbs come in green sockets that do have clips. The sockets do fit and will work in the tree but the clip doesn’t really clip down. So I just removed the bulbs from the sockets they came in and put them in the sockets that come with the tree. Voila! Now I have replacement bulbs. I’ll be buying more (colored and white) to have on-hand.

Was exactly what I needed but very hard to put in

I misplaced my arsenal of scavenged bulbs this year so I broke down and bought these as the bases looked identical to the bases in all my light strings. Of course, they didn't fit. These were a tad too big for the sockets, about the width of a human hair difference. Looking at these and my old bulbs side by side, I could not tell the difference between the bases but my digital calipers measured a seven to eight one-thousandth of an inch difference which was just enough to keep the new base from sliding into the socket and remaining seated properly.I ended up swapping these new bulbs into the old bases, a little more work but the same result in the end.

Product was as advertised - but, don't be fooled by the picture. I just needed "red" bulbs - but thought three of the other colors > yellow, green, blue - would match my set if I needed to replace other bulbs in the future. When received, discovered the "yellow" wasn't yellow - but, rather "orange." A final note: the fifth color (you get 5 colors x 5 in the set) - is "purple." It's hard to see in the picture but I believe it's there. Wished seller had listed the colors provided in product description. Wondered if purple/orange were thrown-in for "Halloween" strings? In any case - another one of those hazards associated w/on-line shopping as opposed to retail store - - Was otherwise very satisfied w/purchase. All bulbs used - worked.

They’re not led bulbs they say they are led but I received a pack of them and they were not ledPaid double for regular bulbs

I wanted to leave a review since this product has some poor ones. I took a chance since it was so hard to find replacement lights for my prelit tree. Lights worked great and fit perfectly!! Great deal for the amount and I am so glad Amazon had these in stock. Also, some people said their bulbs were weak lighted and dim? Not mine! So if you need bulbs like I did, order these for your tree 😀

The item arrived sooner than expected, however it was in a thin yellow envelope with what appeared as a footprint. Thankfully none appear to be broken.

I bought a National Christmas tree a couple years ago and love the tree but all the white lights was just too much so I ordered 100 colored lights (4 packs). I thought this might be over kill but all 100 are on my tree and it's beautiful.
