Sacred Space: The Prayer Book 2021

I have been using this book for several years. Two of my favorite things are: 1. It makes me think, with the commentary and the questions. 2. The scripture for the day is printed in the book so I don't have to balance a Bible and the book to use it. I would recommend this book to anyone looking to develop their relationship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

So, 2020 was crazy. I had ordered this version for the year and loved it.I ordered it ahead. on Kindle. As the year started, with the craziness of the election going on and on, it was a smart move.As this year unfolds, it seem like 2021 said to 2020.,...hold my beer.I am deeply grateful for this touchstone. I start my day with this and coffee. Okay, coffee first. Priorities!I look forward to reading this. It does help and it does keep me grounded.

I got the version for 2020 some months back and almost put it down because the first entry I read was more about priests than it was about connecting with God, but I'm grateful I kept on with it. Day by day I kept at it, and I ordered the new one for 2021. Every single day of this new year, this book has been a blessing. I have an entire shelf of prayer and meditation books, and most of them are great, but this one offers reading before and after the Gospel for the day (opportunities to reflect before reading, to read and listen to what is being said, and then to talk to God about how we feel about it, about any doubts or concerns or fears we may be having). I find this tremendously helpful and a wonderful way to start the day with a beautiful divine connection.Some of the reflections at the beginning of each week are better than others, and I will go back sometimes to the ones I find most inspiring, but in whole this is an invaluable tool for getting quiet, for listening to the message, and for going to God about the message. Awesome!
