Worked for about 40 holes then tip broke
Worked as it should, however the 1/8" section broke after 40 holes. Purchased 2 more used one for 80 holes and it worked fine.

Drill bit works great for window screen plunger.
This bit works well after some amount of practice. I have a spare screen frame I could use to get it right. Two main issues 1) need to be careful not to go too deep and end up with the hole just the size of the larger part of the bit. I put some tape on the bit at the depth needed so I did not go too deep. 2) need to make sure the hole is not at an angle.

Saves a lot of alignment issues.
If you need to install a new window screen with plunger clips buy this. It makes everything so much easier. Aside from not having to find the correct bits, this guarantees that your holes are alingned.

Does the trick. Any bit can break, and ...
Does the trick. Any bit can break, and I wouldn't call anyone a liar without evidence, but I also find it difficult to believe that the end of this bit would snap off without mistreatment as one reviewer claims. If you're only doing one or two windows and have a standard bit set on hand, you can use separate 1/8" and 7/32" bits to get the same result. Just drill through the frame at the right spot with the 1/8 bit, then widen the inner, screen-side hole with the 7/32 bit.

Drill very slowly and pray!
On the face of it this is a great idea. I had five frames where I had to drill new holes. I got to the last one and the 1/8" piece snapped. If you have lots to do you should use separate drills.

Good quality drill but aggressive
Great quality step drill. I bought it to install pins to hold screen frames in. Be super careful as you drill. I found that the smaller diameter drill was fine piloting the drill but when I got to the larger diameter, the drill aggressively cut the material and caused me to compromise one frame
