Just what I was looking for
I recently began a walking program for my health and wanted a simple pedometer to track my steps and the distance walked. I tried the pedometers that attach at the waist and found they were not very accurate. I also tried the type that is worn on the wrist and gives heart rate, etc. That's not terribly accurate either since I can move my hands during the workday without taking a step and it registers as a step. Besides that it needs to be recharged pretty often. I wanted something that was simple and accurate, and I found it. The first thing I do after putting my shoes on is reset the pedometer and hit the walking trail. I know that it's accurate because when I check it upon my return, it always registers roughly the same number of steps (within 10 - 20). It never needs charging and I don't have to worry about forgetting to put it on unless I forget my shoes. It's exactly what I was looking for and I plan to buy a second one to put on a different pair of shoes.

Doesn't work!
I purchased this pedometer based on the glowing reviews for my daughter to use for cross country since I new she would not want "wear" or carry anything. The instructions are mystifying in four different languages and require a magnifying glass to read. I then got an e-mail from the company with clarified instructions (apparently other people can't read them either). I have used the pedometer 5 times now on the same route with five different results, none of which are even close to being accurate. I have tried to calibrate the stride, but when I press and hold the key, the numbers do not start flashing, ever! This is a piece of junk. Save your money.

Has worked well for over a year
The pedometer has worked well for 13 months; the battery ran out today. I use it to count steps and have no reason to doubt its accuracy. It's better by far than my old Fitbit. It was easy to strap to my sneaker and, once secured, has stayed in place.

We chose this one None of them we found count the steps perfectly we found this one to be OK and works in rain
We tried many pedometers on Amazon's website this one like the other ones is accurate to a point. None of these truly count your footsteps perfectly they're always off by a little bit it seems to be that way we found this one to be the most accurate or closest to the steps that you actually take. Sometimes it freaks out when we removed it from the shoe shaking in a little bit and it's adds a few extra steps but it seems to be working OK, It is like a three or four star item, we think it's worthy of four stars and hope it's review helps others if anything changes will update.1. So for the price which was about $16 is about right for the quality of the product and the accuracy that it does deliver.2. Another good point on this one is that it is able to be worn when it is raining3. We feel the construction is well-made on this item compared to the many others

Works on the ankle too!!!
I needed something I could strap to my shoe at a reasonable price and this walking pedometer fits the bill superbly. I thought I might have to buy two of them - one for my walking shoes and one for my hiking boots - because they are a slight nuisance to unlace them from one set of shoes to put them on another. But my husband had the perfect solution. Instead of threading my shoe laces through the side slots, I thread an extra lace through the slots on the pedometer and tie the pedometer to my ankle. It stays in place and keeps perfect record of my steps. Best of all, I can now take my shoes off and put on slippers and still keep track of my steps.

VERY Unhappy
I bought two of these because of the decent reviews, but I find them inaccurate, cumbersome and time-consuming to attach to your shoes/sneakers. The menus are also not intuitive in their layout, plus it was very aggravating that the entered values "stick" when they want to and don't stick when they don't want. Also, even after you save the values (like mph), and turn off the unit for the day, the old values (like kph) are re-activated (return). I am planning to spend my money in a fitbit instead and eventually throw these out and pass them off to my friends to give to their children as novelties/curiosities. (Update: Gave them away to a couple of schoolchildren to tinker with. I have no time for trash)

Great Walking Pedometer
This is a great pedometer. It is easy to use just put it through the shoe laces and start walking. It is so light that you forget it is on your shoe. The numbers are clean and easy to read. It is easy to set and reset. It also tells you everything you need to know about your steps. The walking pedometer tells you your steps your distance traveled your calories burned. It works great and the cost is very reasonable. The customer service department is great and very helpful if or when you need them. This is a great company to buy from. So get this walking pedometer and get moving!

Surprised
I like the product and it seems to work fine. However when it got delivered and I opened it up the inside box was tore open and the product was laying inside the outer box.
