Great salt without microplastics
I gave up all of my sea salt when I found out that sea salt has microplastics in it. I bought the rock salt for my grinders and the table salt for my salt cellar. Love it. Plus it has iodine in it.

Best salt ever!
I cannot find Diamod crystal salt where I live in Maine, so I needed to get a box of Diamond Crystal Salt for my own private use. This is a big box. I see the difference in quality already. YUM!

No metal

Packaging by the sender did not secure the 2 boxes of this fine salt before it was shipped to me.
This Diamond Crystal Salt has been used in my family for 100 years, and it is still a fantastic product. I have given to order 4 stars, because it is not the fault of this wonderful salt that is the problem, but it is the LACK OF ENOUGH PACKAGING PAPER BY THE SENDER to secure the 2 salt boxes in the shipping box. This caused both of my two salt boxes to be ruined with my boxcutter when I opened the shipping box. More than a cup of salt from my 2 boxes of salt was left in the bottom of the shipping box.

Gentle ice melt
I used the salt to melt the ice from the previous snowstorm excellent source of ice melt not harsh on my cement walkway.

Salt of the Earth
Diamond Crystal is impossible to find in stores. My mother cooked with it for years annd would never use another brand as she thought they were too salty. My mother was a gourmet cook. When I heard it is also highly recommended by Ina Garten I went on a search to find it. Amazon was the only place that had it. It was a bit pricey but to me it is โ worth the saltโโฆ.so order it today!

Contains sodium silicoaluminate, dextrose and sodium bicarbonate
What a HUGE DECEPTION! I bought this salt because I thought it would be just salt without any additive other than iodine. Other Diamond Crystal salt are just salt with zero additive. This iodized version contains sodium silicoaluminate (a synthetic compound), dextrose and sodium bicarbonate. I wasn't expecting these additives at all. I feel very disappointed. Waste of money!
