Buy this for family, friends and yourself!
An excellent knife for the money. Handle is small yet with the choil (finger indent after the handle) it nicely fits my large hand. By not using the choil it fits a smaller hand also. Thick full tang blade with hard wood handles. The non stainless steel is durable, easy to take a very fine edge and keeps edge respectively. Coat with a spot of olive oil to hedge off any possibility of rust. I was not sure about the leather sheath yet it retains knife well and has easily held up to daily wear.Suggestions : I ground shallow jimping (grooves) where your finger and thumb engage the bottom & top of the blade to dramatically increase purchase of knife grip. Would like to see this knife in S30v steel if the manufacturer is listening. So buy as a gift for your hunter or friends as it's a valued keeper and a sweet knife.Update: 10/4/18 I did manage to pop the belt loop rivet when I caught the sheathed knife sitting in a chair. No worries, as it did not rip the leather. So after installing a snap in its place I fixed two issues by fixing the pulling rivet and should it happen again the snap will pop open then just resnap it closed. Still a nice knife.

Great bang for the buck!
I had been looking for a "bushcraft" style of knife for a while. I have been to local gun shows, outdoor stores, and online to no avail for what I was looking for. I am going camping this weekend and wanted an extra tool of this nature. I stumbled across this one. I figured I'd be getting a "cheap" (inexpensive), but potentially functional knife until I settled on what I want. My expectations were greatly exceeded! The knife is very well made, arrived very sharp, and with an impressive handle. Although I have yet to use it, I can see where it has a durable heft to it, will be suitable for batoning wood, has a 90-degree edge on the spine which will work perfect for a ferrocerium rod, and has a few grip options for carving and other camp/bushcraft duties. The sheath that was included is well made and fits superb. The belt loop is also of a good size so it will fit many belt sizes but not too loose. If I did not know the price I paid, I would say this could hold up to knives many times the price. I am most likely going to buy a couple more so I can keep one in my truck, and one for each of my bags. Thanks, Perkin!

Another REALLY good deal!
I've said it many times in my life, and I'll continue to. I'm a knife whore.I really just ended up buying this on a whim. I was about to order another very inexpensive, yet highly endorsed knife, and before I proceeded to checkout, this caught my eye. I couldn't resist it. Especially at the price. As far as what you get for your money, this is a really nice knife. The sheath is a very basic leather, but seems to hug the knife very well. It would take a heck of a ride to have it just fall out on you.The handle is a little small for my hand, and I knew it would be when I read the specs. But it's not so small that I'd ever return it. I'm a big guy.Lots of knives are small in my hand. The blade is gorgeous, with absolutely ZERO flaws. I REALLY like the strength and angle at the point of the blade. This will most likely be a camp cooking knife and/or a field dressing knife. It has a great balance and handles 'finesse' very well.I've seen a few complaints about it on here, and I'll tell you right to your face, I have absolutely nothing to complain about. It's not the BEST knife I have, but the small price tag on it is beyond well worth it.

great knife, small handle.
recently purchased a number of knives with a very specific criteria. no "tactical", no paracord, no giant bowie, no folders, just a nice sized, natural handle bush knife, for CHEAP. all were in the $10-16 range. this was one of them.to be honest, not the best knife made. no, it wont contend with a $300 custom knife, but for under $20 this is a lot of knife. nice fit and finish, came sharp, didnt really punish them, but in the limited amount of trials i gave the blade seemed to hold a decent edge. at the end of the day, id take 20 of these over one $300 knife hands down. actually, id just get one and spend the other $285 on something else.and for the record. im giving this same review to all 8 of the knives i purchased for this "experiment". all seemed to hold edges well, some better than others, the fit and finish was better on some than on others, but easily acceptable on all, and all well worth the few dollars they cost.** addendum to this knife only, the handle felt a little on the small side. ill surely be using the finger groove on the blade every time i use it. not uncomfortably small, but i have have what id call average sized hands. a large handed person might want to skip this one.
