J.A. Henckels International Mikado 4-Piece Streak Knife Set

Had a set of eight of these knives for the longest time and absolutely love them. Must've accidentally threw a couple out with dirty paper plates over the years because we were down to 4 so I found them here again and now I'm back up to eight. They have a great weight to them, not cheap or thin feeling whatsoever and can cut anything from strawberries to steaks. I will never buy another steak knife again. Outstanding value for the money.

Rediculously large and unwieldy - definitely not a replacement set. Had to return them.

I have had a set of these for 10 years. They have been remarkable. I never had any rust on them. Very very happy with them. I use them as both steak knives and for small cutting work in the kitchen.

The handles broke after a few years. If you're good with having these last only 5 years, then go for it. Spend the extra money and get something not made in China.

These knives don't hold an edge very well, the tang is only extends about .75-1 inch into the handle. labeled "j. a. henckels international mikado. german stainless steel 19109-120. purchased from bed, bath and beyond about 10 years ago, have been unused and stored in a knife block for 9 years. Going back to my 40 yr old Chicago Cutlery set.

Clearly counterfeit. Oddly sized compared to legit product. Stamping was smudged and blurred.
