Perfect kayak seat if you have the Tamarack Angler 100!
As you might guess by the title, I own a Lifetime Tamarack Angler 100. I was looking for a replacement seat that was better ventilated, had a sturdy backrest, and would elevate me about 4 inches. This stadium seat looked like it would work, so I ordered it, but I prepared myself for the inevitable modifications I would need to do to get it to fit.I just got it, and it fits PERFECTLY. It sits flat on the existing seat with no mods. All I had to do was salvage the strap off of the old backrest to secure the seat along the front using the existing buckles. Attached this way, you can still easily fold the seat down! If you have this kayak, buy this seat, it's a no brainier!!

Just what we were looking for!
Our family is very active, with many sporting events and park trips on the weekends. I was sick of carrying around bulky chairs that weren't that comfortable. Finally, I found something that is convenient AND comfortable. We have two and I can easily carry both in one hand (they fold up nicely). They work in a bleacher setting or on the ground, as I routinely do both. Couldn't be happier!

Says the chair is very comfortable. Only one criticism
We rally did our due diligence on this purchase. We went to numerous sports stores and spent a number of hours on the internet. We settled on this CMT seat as it was wider on the seat and taller on the back than most of of the rest.But... that still didn't sell us. We called the CMT main office and talked to them. We asked them lots of questions. The lady at CMT was so helpfull and courteous. She never tried to sell us or push us.That sold us.We have used the chairs numerous times, sometimes 3-4 hours without getting up. Never a sore or tired behind. We are near 70 years old and my wife has arthritis in her knees and legs. She loves her's. Says the chair is very comfortable.Only one criticism. Because this chair is built to last with steel and canvas, it is heavier than most chairs to carry. However, I would highly recommend this chair. I am 6 foot 4 tall and I love it.Bob P yorba Linda, CA

Good sturdy stadium seats
Very happy with my choice. Took it to football game Friday. Easy to carry with strap. Feels sturdy and comfortable. Used it through JV and Varsity games and it’s a win for me. First weeks game I sat on bare bleachers - tiresome by second game. Second week used a very old stadium seat inherited from parents., ok but padding this. Third week my new Cascade seat! Definitely a good choice. Ordered Friday after second game and here in time for third game a week later. Note, there are 3 levels of these seats, 4 lb light aluminum, this one a 6 lb heavier aluminum. And a 8 lb steel seat. I chose this for it’s weight yet added sturdiness of heavier aluminum. Glad I did as I observed around me people having trouble - bending or breaking, from other seats whIch looked similar, but lighter. Costco sell seats by same company, but they are the lighter 4 lb version and I didn’t need two seats as they sell in package. This was worth a few more $$.

I don't use it but my husband does.
I got regular width and it is more narrow than expected and really quite heavy. I only have one other stadium seat to compare it to which is wider and lighter weight but it has a bar across the back so I was looking for one with no back bar and I thought this would be good. I had back surgery and can't lift heavy items and need to rest my back when I sit.The wide width seat would be better for a grown adult, IMO, but I'm sure then it would be even heavier and the price gets to be a bit much. Just kind of annoying when we are already lugging so much stuff to my son's football games and my daughter's football and basketball cheer. We are in bleachers for hours every week and I'm not trying to sit there are squinched in between narrow bars on my back and hips. So I'm back to using the old chair with the bar across the back and my husband uses this one because he's not as picky as me. :)Overall seems to be really good quality, though, since it's made out of...I don't know, what's the heaviest material there is? Lead? Only kidding. The fabric/canvas part is good quality as well. Just not quite what I need.

Not as large as I thought, bottom uncomfortable!
So the chair is very sturdy and for the most part very comfortable. The seat has some give when sitting in it and when leaning back into the chair you didn’t feel as if you were going to tip over. (The back rest was my favorite part about the chair). The material seems to be made of high quality material that is soft to the touch. It is very easy to fold and unfold, a bit heavy to carry but it has a nice soft grip for you when carrying it. The reason for my poor score in comfort is they give the impression that this is a large seat and it’s not!For the women out there I wear a size 16 pant and do have a bit bigger legs and my legs hit the uncomfortable bar on the side of the chair that was exposed in my pictures. I also had my husband sit on it who is 5”11, 210 pounds and wears a 34 waist pant and the seat was also almost too small where his legs where hitting the bar and not sitting within the “bars” in the cushion part. If you are a petite women or want to lay a blanket over the seat I would definitely recommend. Unfortunately, we ended up sending this back for a chair that does not have exposed bars on the seat.

Worth every penny!!
I bought a stadium seat through a local shop several years ago for baseball games. My husband and I argue over who gets it and often have to take turns so this year, I invested and bought a second one. It may seem like a lot of $ to spend, but it is SOO worth the investment! We're at the ball diamond May-September and these are a life saver. This is very heavy duty as well. My husband is 6'2" 250 lbs and this fits him well. It's sturdy enough to handle his larger size. It also has a hook in the front that slides onto the bench so that the seat doesn't tip over backward.

Good back support (pointy top corners though)
I actually bought this for back support while working from home off my bed. Does the trick. No clue how durable it is though, only used it a few times so far.I ordered the XL. Definitely enough back support for me. It's not uncomfortable or anything. Also doesn't tip over on a bed (despite several deliberate attempts for amusement). The only complaint I'd have is the top corners are really stiff and sharp somehow (I don't think they'd cut anything, but they hurt if you hit it with your arms etc, and can leave a minor scratch/scrape. So you may want to cap those with something soft, if you notice an issue there as well.

atlast comfort on a hard or metal bench
I received money for a gift and purchased the product. I made a mistake as I got another one as a gift. I did not realize that came in 2 sizes. the 14" was a little to small but the 17" was much better for me. Best to sit on a hard surface then mark with a pencil then measure your size. would recommend to all friends and family this seat is well built and will last a life time and be passed on

Comfort
I haven’t had a chance to use it yet as I will be putting it in my Kayak during the summer months. I’ve tried sitting on it in my home and it appears to be very comfortable. It also seems to be very well made and durable.

Very comfortable
Works excellent, used for a Rhymtic Gymnastic competition. 8 hours of sitting on blechers was killing my back. Bought this chair for my elderly mother so she can watch her granddaughter at her Gymnastic competitions without pain. Best thing I ever bought her.

Very sturdy
The seat is comfortable and very solidly built.Others in my family have them and are satisfied.I have a small butt and it just fits me ok but if you have a bigger butt I would advise getting the wide model. We use the seats to sit in ice hockey arenas so the gap at the back lets in cold air which some may find too cold on their butt and lower back so I have added a thin cushion at the back to cut the cold air circulation.
