I bought these for a photo shoot for a product related to Marcel Proust’s In Search of Lost Time where the lead character is transported mentally to his childhood by the taste of the madeleine dipped in tea. I was transported back to my grandmother’s kitchen where we would eat buttery pound cake. I love to put these in the fridge and let the butter harden up a little, changing the texture of the cake to that of the refrigerated pound cake of my own childhood. Highly recommend this product.
