I suspect that both clocks came from the same workshop, in China. Fortunately the first clock to arrive had the instruction leaflet, the second one didn’t. The important thing to note is that the batteries you need aren’t the normal alkaline ones, but carbon zinc. The carbon zinc ones are a bit more difficult to get hold of in the shops, so my advice would be to buy some online before the clock actually arrives. They’re not expensive. The instruction leaflet is written in a sort of pidgin English but if you study it carefully it’s just about possible to work out what you need to do. Both clocks have been in operation for a few weeks now, and there have been no problems, and they keep good time. I just love this clock, it not only looks good in my newly decorated bedroom, but you literally cannot hear it tick at night, it's fab on all levels and really good value for your money.

frustrated that this clock doesn't work...! Waste of money :( . its looks pretty!! but very poor cheap quality and flimsy. Very expensive for what it is even if it did work.

So the clock face is as shown, the design is lovely. However, the clock itself is made out of foam board. Foam board! £17.99 is complete and utter pizz-take. The perfect colour match (to my bathroom decor) is the only reason I haven’t sent it back for a full refund. The cheek!

Kitchen clock looks impressive

Metto 4 stelle per un mio gusto personale, mi spiego meglio: qualitativamente a mio marito quest'orologio non piace proprio, dice che sembra un cartoncino stampato e ritagliato con al centro due lancette "che poteva fare anche lui". Effettivamente il prodotto è un po' scarso anche se bello, non da 20 € sicuramente. Io comunque l'ho preso per appoggiarlo sul comò nella stanza da letto, e secondo me a vista fa il suo bell'effetto, funziona bene ed è silenziosissimo
