Redken Texturizing Mousse, Curvaceous Wave Ahead, 4.7 Ounce

I did not expect to like this product--most of my experiences with mousse products have not been good (dried out hair, made hair brittle, not enough hold, etc). My hair stylist was so enthusiastic about this product that I decided to give it a chance. I have collarbone-length curly hair that is on the heavy side and needs a product with a firm hold. Prior to this, I had used Redken Curl Force to get the long-lasting curls, even though it dried my hair out if I used it too often. The Curvaceous product makes my hair feel a little bit "sticky" but I need a lot less product to keep my curls in place and the curls look soft instead of "crunchy." I'm impressed enough that I am considering trying other products in this line.

I've looked EVERYWHERE for this specific product. Every other place that did sell it was over priced and sketchy. Just received my product with a mini bottle of redken multi-benefit treatment AND a sample of the all soft Argan-6 oil! I am super satisfied. My product even arrived a few days before it was supposed to. I will definitely be ordering from here again. Thank you so much!

I cannot day enough great things about this product. Since Redken discontinued it, the price has inflated. I have purchased-the ole supply and demand.

This is great for the most humid days, but my hair felt kind of rough and almost dirty when I used this stuff. Like I said, great for humid days, but this is not for every day use unless you have highly texture hair. It was a bit much for my 3ab hair. I'll buy some before my next trip to Miami, but I won't keep this around all the time.

I am afraid it might be outdated because it is a discontinued product.

Really wish they hadn't discontinued this product! None of the new ones in this line give me the same hold.

Works well. My hair does not have much body but this creates lots of volume and staying power.

Use sparingly and move quickly ... Much better than I anticipated.. Yea! Needed a product to replace the discontinued Electric Wax... So far so good

Manufacturer Redken recommends this to replace its Fresh Curls Spring Mousse, now no longer being produced. As the previous product was a favourite of mine, I bought this. However, while Fresh Curls had a slight volumising and conditioning effect and was definitely an aerosol mousse, this was just a very sticky spray somewhere between firm-hold hair spray and old fashioned setting lotion. Maybe it's better if you go on to blow dry it, but for a natural dry I found it pretty much useless. A poor replacement, in my opinion.

I am so pleased I went back to mousse. I Haven't used it in years. I've been using gels and wax's etc etc.As I am getting older, I thought my lack of my old familiar proper curls was maybe because my dyed hair was going grey underneathand brittle and just not the same hair of my youth.......but..... along comes redken curvaceous wave ahead......fantastic. my curls are in full bounce and my hair looks like it used to look years ago.. so happy...my only negative comment is thatmy hair is a little bit sticky.... but... i don't care....it looks fantasitc... Thanks redken..... I feel younger because of you x

Great mousse for curly hair.

Dieses Redken-Produkt überzeugt mich nicht wirklich. Es macht zwar wirklich schöne Locken und gibt Volumen, jedoch klebt es auch bei Anwendung mit geringer Menge in den Haaren. Man kann es zum Ausgehen jederzeit anwenden, am nächsten Tag jedoch müssen die Haare gewaschen werden, weil sie nicht durchkämmbar sind. Habe lange Haare und mittlere Naturlocken. Ich werde es wohl nicht mehr kaufen, wenn die Dose aufgebraucht ist.

Zum Locken auffrischen ideal. Ich würde allerdings nicht empfehlen es in das nasse Haar zu kneten und der Schaum sollte sehr sparsam (bei schulterlangem Haar nicht mehr als ein 2Euro-Münze) verwendet werden. Ich bin mit dem Produkt sehr zufrieden.

Bester schaimfestiger für locken. Man benötigt nicht sehr viel und bekommt super locken

sehr gutes Produkt,man braucht wirklich nur eine kleine Menge davon und man hat im Handumdrehen wieder schöne, glänzende Locken;es riecht sehr gut;

Der Lockeneffekt ist gut (gaaanz wenig genügt!), aber das Haar wird ziemlich trocken, ich verwende den Schaum daher nur manchmal.

Make sure you only use very little otherwise your hair will be too heavy does what it says on the tin, only product I have found that doesn't irritate my head

This is the only product which gives body to my fine hair without taking the wave out of it. It's light, non sticky - and you don't need to use very much each time.

Leider hat mich dieses Produkt überhaupt nicht überzeugt. Ich habe den Schaum nach dem Waschen ins nasse Haar (ich habe dickes Haar) verteilt und hatte das Gefühl, als hätte ich Kleber in den Haaren. Stylen konnte ich meine Haare leider nicht mehr viel, sondern erstmal wieder waschen. Ärgerlich bei dem Preis.

Das neue Redkenprodukt ist gegenüber dem alten deutlich besser, es riecht besser und man kann je nach Masse des Schaumes variieren.Umso mehr Schaum man benutzt umso mehr Locken entstehen dann.
