Briwax Toluene Free - Jacobean 370g

Great product. I bought some neglected dining chairs which my wife refinished with this Briwax in very little time. Great results from little effort.

This is a great product. Easy to use, good colour and lovely finish. Picture showed a plastic lid, but this one came with the original tin lid. As described by seller, and arrived on time.

Good wax, does what it says on the tin and I would say good price. Leaves a lovely finish. However is darker than I thought it would be in comparison to the amount of darker shades available I thought this would leave a nice oak finish however I would say this wood now looks more of a walnut finish.

I have used this before and have never been disappointed

Very easy to apply and use, and results in a really deep shine. I used an electric car polisher to buff up the surface of a pine blanket chest, and it has restored this piece of furniture to the best it has looked in probably 50 years.One criticism: other people have mentioned how difficult it is to get the lid back onto the can, and this has been my experience. I notice that some vendors feature a plastic lid to replace the tin one, but although my can was advertised as having one, when it arrived it was missing. Presumably, a tight fit is necessary to prevent the product drying out, and if the lid can't be refitted then the life is shortened and money wasted. Really time for the makers to do something about this.

Hab jetzt leider keine bilder zu gemacht. Das wax ist ganz gut habe nur den jacobesn benutzt. Würde mich mal interessieren wie die anderen aussehen aufm holz. Aber so ganz einfach aufzu tragen

無塗装のヒノキの合板の仕上げに用いました。色見本ではオールドパインなど経年変化したパイン系の色との区別が微妙で分かりにくかったのですが、ミディアムブラウンという色は正解だったと思います。白木であるヒノキの木地にいったん浸透させる目的と色ムラを防ぐため、一度目は意識して薄く塗り広げました。観賞魚のフィルターなどに使用するアクリル綿で、ちょうど車のワックスを掛けるような感じです。塗布したばかりの濡れた状態ではコーヒーをこぼしたような色合いですが、乾燥して磨いた後は薄くなります。色の感じとしては板目の木目のコントラストがある部分はアルダー材のような温かみのあるトーンです。分かりやすく言えば中庸な飴色、ミルクティーのような色調でしょうか。ヒノキの合板は地色が白っぽいので、見本より薄めの印象です。ワックスの匂いは、オーソドックスな車のワックスとほぼ同じです。塗っている最中は確かに匂いますが、窓を開けながら作業し、拭き取って磨き上げ、換気扇で通風させながら一晩経ったら臭わなくなりました。ベタベタする感じでもなく、意外とサラサラしています。鼻を近づけるとワックスではなく再びヒノキの香りがしていましたのでちょっと安心しました。一度にべったり塗るのではなく、薄めに何度か塗布した方がよいように思われます。何度かこの薄塗りの方法で塗布して、これから味を出していきたいと思います。写真は施工中の風景と、塗装前と塗装中の濡れた状態（いずれもLED電球下）と、乾燥させて研磨した後（日中・自然光）

商品は申し分なく、色も良く使いやすいので気軽に誰でも使える商品でおすすめです。ただ、商品の大きさからしてポストに入らないこの商品を、Amazonの職員の方がロックしてるポストを勝手に開けて配送されたのが不快でたまりません。

色味も良くて乾燥も早く感じた。値段も手頃だと思いました。
