Men's Rocket Cafè Racer Motorcycle Boots

Bought this for riding but have been wearing everywhere for casual dress. Changed out the inserts with Walk Hero on Amazon, and so amazing! Now it’s my most comfortable walking shoe. I even took them to Oregon on a recent trip because it’s waterproof and used them for hiking!

The boots are stylish and made from quality materials. The toe protection initially caused pinching on my instep, but heavy socks eliminated most of the discomfort until the boots broke in. The boots provide good toe, heel, and ankle protection, but the lack of integrated shin protection results in 1-star demerit from a perfect rating. If total protection is your priority there are better alternatives at the MSRP, but few rival the combination of style and performance that the StyleMartin Rockets offer.

For decades, I wore Bates zipper jump(paratrooper) boots at work. They were sturdy, held up to abuse, and took years of daily use to wear out.I retired from that job and needed a zippered boot for motorcycle riding. I wanted less of a military style and I wanted something in civilian brown. Finding what I wanted is a tall order.There were a few contenders but I chose stylemartin rocket boots, which cost slightly more than the Bates Paratrooper boots.The stylemartin boots are nowhere near the quality of the Bates boots, from the thickness of the leather to the stitching to the laces. The Bates zippers were robust and never failed. The Stylemartin zippers are rather dainty and I don’t have much confidence in them. I lubricated them immediately but time will tell.

The boots look great. Seem to be very well made and arrived in perfect condition. I ordered size 43 (10) but they are a little too big and my foot slid back and forth, so I tried to do a return. Since these ship from the UK, you are unable to return through the normal process. I needed to ship them back to Amazon UK. Amazon offers $20.00 towards shipping but the cheapest I could find was $85.00 to ship them back so I lost 65 dollars on this purchase. My fault for not reviewing return notes but I think I will have to just try and find some locally. Can't afford to risk the return charges. Hopefully this helps people who may not read all the details.

I purchased these to have a slightly more formal pair of riding boots for 'dress-up' days. To that purpose they are well-suited. They look more like stylish Italian dress boots, not clunky motorcycle gear. I bought the brown, and they have a nicely distressed appearance out of the box that should take polish well.The soles feel quite substantial and there is padding for the ankle bone. I also liked that the strap at the top of each boot's shaft serves to cover the laces to prevent getting caught on the gear shift or brake levers, which prevents those embarrassing stoplight tip-overs.However, the design is tailored to fit those with less meaty calves (not mine). I can only fasten the strap buckles into the very last hole of the straps.I have not worn these in wet weather so I cannot attest to any waterproof or resistant claims.

These riding boots are great. They are comfortable, very stylish, and I feel like my feet and ankles are very protected. They were definitely worth the price I snagged them for.

The fit and look of this boot is great. The boot comes true to size and it feels really comfortable. It needs a break in period to really feel comfortable since the leather is initially stiff. With proper care and maintenance, I can see this boot lasting a lifetime.

Botas pensadas por y para el motero. Son excepcionales, de una calidad muy alta, con detalles de todo tipo y pensadas para el ir de ruta con una buena moto. Y quedan de coña con la moda café racer!Son muy altas, my robustas y muy recias. Al principio, cuesta andar algo con ellas de lo rígidas que son, te acostumbras, pero obviamente no son botas para hacer muchos quilómetros a pie, si no sobre las estriberas. Encima de la moto, como anillo al dedo, son plenamente cómodas, se agarran bien a las estriberas y encajan perfectamente debajo de la palanca de cambios. Llevan protección en el empeine para el roce de la palanca.La bota es rígida y lleva protección por la zona del tobillo en el lateral. Ante una posible caída o roce, el pie va totalmente protegido. En la parte superior hay una hebilla con una tira de cuero con varios agujeros para apretar la bota a nuestra medida. Realmente los cordones son más decorativos que funcionales, puesto que el apriete lo marca esta tira. En la parte interior de la caña una cremallera que permite abrir la bota para calzarla. El interior va forrado con un material suave y aislante. En invierno serán una gozada con su capacidad impermeable y corta vientos.El tallaje es el esperado, no es necesario comprar talla más grande de la habitual.Bonitas y cuidadas hasta el mínimo detalle. Son caras, pero son unas botas para toda la vida.

No son tan cómodas para caminar como creía, pues al ser duras, al flexionar el pie, el doblez que se produce en la bota (que es muy duro) hace daño en el puente del pie. Por lo demás, la bota en sí parece resistente para montar en moto.
