Fantastic chalk paint
This is my FAVORITE brand of chalk paint and in fact, I like it so much I often incorporate it into my acrylic paintings. Primarily however, I use this for wood painting and it goes on beautifully, has great color options and I love not having to prime first. This particular color, Sheepskin, is a fantastic background and sign color, but can literally be used for any project on any surface.

Great Chalk Paint
This is the 2nd bottle I've stocked in my craft supplies. The first bottle lasted for a few years and even used for Mason Jar Painting on girls craft day and continued to have left until recently. It goes far and great product and quality!

Nice thick chalk paint
I needed a paint that wouldn’t bleed when dry for crafts when applying acrylic finish over it. This was the one. Very pleased with color, coverage and durability of the paint so far.

Will require a clear coat finish.
This is a cheaper brand and not as durable as the Dixie Belle products but it does what you need it to. I purchased it to mix with Dixie Belle Coffee Bean because I wanted a darker color but not quit black. I also didn't want to pay as much. The 2 colors together came out perfect. This IS a cheaper brand though because by itself it came off on my brush when I applied clear coat where as the Dixie Belle did not. Great for mixing though if you want to save a couple of bucks. Very forgiving. Nice ultra matte finish with no sheen whatsoever.

Inexpensive chalk paint that does the job!
I started using this chalk paint about 15 years ago as it was one of the first on the market and available at my local arts and crafts store. I've completed numerous furniture rehab projects using this product. It goes on easy, no sanding no prepping necessary. Usually takes a good 2 or 3 coats and I always follow up with a clear wax. The antique wax works ok, you definitely need to wipe off right away. For a fraction of the price of some other products on the market, especially if your just beginning to use chalk paint, this is an absolute must!

Chalk paint
FolkArt is my favorite paint, it goes on smoothly and drys in a timely manner. I used this product on a buffet I am redoing and it turned out beautifully. I would recommend this product to anyone that wants to distress by sanding.

Great for matte finishes
I use this as a mixing white for acrylic painting and I love how it flattens out colours. I use the black the same way. Definitely recommended.

Excellent coverage!
One bottle goes a long way! I painted an old dresser and long piano bench and STILL have some left. I spritz my paintbrush with water for easier application. No prepping of surface is required. Two coats provide a lovely finish which I then go over with a coat of varnish.

Nice texture
Good brand to use for its price. A little thick if you’re used to Annie Sloan but definitely good value for money. Used the sage color but I find it’s a little light if you’re expecting a true sage .

Covers really well and stays put!
Went on very well and stayed on. Having a terrible issue with their brand of wax that I applied on top, but the chalk paint is staying put as I am trying to deal with the mess their wax made. So it's really being put to the test and doing it's job! LOVE THE sheepskin color!! I applied over a medium dark stained coffee table after washing it down with TSP. Didn't sand prior to chalk painting.

Queen of My Castle
Received in time to do my weekend project: revamping our old IKEA Leksvik bookcase. The 472 ml bottle was just enough to do two coats, without a second coat on the bottom of the shelves. The colour is just perfect and application was easy. I only wish the bottle opening would be wider because I destroyed my narrowest brush while painting.
